I took over this project from Moberg as something to keep me busy during quarantine! I had some extra data east boards so could justify doing it cheap. Game was described as "experiencing a significant water event" but I'm pretty sure someone found it at the bottom of a lake!

Many... myself included will probably wonder.. all this for a hook??? Just a cheap passion project to keep myself busy!

Step 1 was to rip the topside down and give the playfield a cleaning:

Step 2: Evaporust! ...everything... splurged on new decals... only thing that doesn't seem salvageable are pops.

that's gonna take some work, nice that you're not junking it right away. any idea yet if the playfield isn't warped too much?

#5 8 days ago

Playfield is actually pretty straight and solid. Cabinet sides are solid but its going to need the bottom replaced. I've got all the cabinet hardware stripped off and sitting in evaporust then that will get new paint.

I have a spare set of legs and leg bolts for Hook if you need them.
