    Of all the musicians that died early, which one would you really want to bring back to life in their day. Let's set a guideline that they had to be 35 or younger, and have played on no more than 4 albums. I'll start:

    1st: Jim Croce. why? His only 2 records were chock full of songs that we all know and sing along to this day. His musicality and lyricism are at the pinnacle of singer/songwriter craft.

    close 2nd: Bradley Nowell of Sublime.

    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

    The big bopper
    falco
    Sylvester
    Peter “James” Bond
    “Smoking” Joe Frazier

    +1 on the Big Bopper, the the others not so much.
    Falco=40
    Sylvester=41
    the other two are a research project. although a quick search on Peter Bond reveals that he retired after 10 years and is still alive?

    Not many answers here are following OPs 'rule' even Croce had 5 studio albums.

    guilty! I missed the first two records that didn't chart at all.
