Note that this only applies to board manufactured prior to February 2012. That is 10 years ago. I would assume all boards manufactured after that date had the error corrected.

I would argue something slightly different. I would argue those "defective" boards should have never been sold to customers. I think part of the reason this slipped through is that the boards were not thoroughly tested before the decision to sell them was made. Quality control. Or lack thereof. Not all after market boards have poor quality control.

It is definitely documented (on this forum) that Rottendog does have compatibility and quality control issues with their recently manufactured boards. Not all of their boards have these issues. Some of them work perfectly fine. They are a good choice for the budget conscious buyer (willing to sacrifice quality for budget).
