This may have been answered elsewhere in the forum archives but I couldn't seem to find it... Regarding the 2.0 (Dutch) pinball upgrade, aside from the DMD and new sounds etc, is the rule set for the game changed significantly?

The original BOP has a pretty simple main objective achieved by shooting the shuttle ramp over and over again. Are there any major rule set differences between 2.0 and the original? If so, what are they or could someone post a link to new rules? I am contemplating a BOP purchase and am intrigued by the potential upgrade this machine now has available.

Thanks!

It's 100% different. Same playfield, entirely different game, music, voices, modes, rules, etc.

I'd like to see a description of the new modes and rules. Is this available anywhere? My searches have come up pretty empty.

Here's a rulecard that's a couple versions old.

http://pinballmafia.net/temp/bop2.0_1091b.pdf

It leaves out:
Skill Shot
2nd MB Mode
Video Mode

There are 6 small wheel modes:
These involve timed shots to ramps or loops (or multiple) and award points and increase the jackpot.

Additionally you have live scoring and achievements

When I see the amount of effort they've put into the video mode (ability to build your own levels, etc.), it makes me excited to see the game when the code is all done.

I found my BoP last week. Now I'm just waiting for the next batch of kits!

Thanks guys! The info is appreciated.

Is a shaker motor included in the kit? The one I played of the weekend had one.

No.

I'm not aware that the software would support the shaker. Of course you could connect it to a flasher, but which one would make most sense?

Where did you play it?

No shaker in the one in the main hall. If it was that one it was just the sub.

Sub was shakin the machine then!
