As a huge Brian Eddy fan, I’m itching to find out what his debut Stern machine will be in 2019 (theme / layout). I’ve put a freeze on current purchases just so I can have the funds ready for Brian’s machine.
Surely it will be a winner!
Anyone else in the same boat? Any speculations (on theme / layout etc)?

    Quoted from J85M:

What licenses past Deadpool, Munsters and Beatles do Stern have lined up?
I have seen Superman 78 and Jurassic World mentioned here on pinside, think Brian could make a killer Jurassic World pin.
But he’s made amazing games based on solo characters IJ and Shadow so could easily knock Superman out the park, Stern hiring him is genuinely exciting.

    They also now have Godzilla.

Wonder if Stern is taking Brian along to San Diego Comic Con.........

The timeline definitely fits (12 to 14 months for design/dev of new machine), so surely Brian's game is up before Keith's? But who knows with Stern, they may switch things around to keep us guessing. Darn it, wish I had a crystal ball

    Quoted from ALY:

I loved TMNT as a kid. Like, a lot!
But now, almost 30 years later, I don't feel a thing for it, really.

Should hope so. It’s been long enough.

The bit about Lonnie on code has me worried tbh. Hopefully Brian will oversee (the coding), as he is no slouch when it comes to programming.

    Quoted from DS_Nadine:

Since Brian is a programmer and knows his stuff he will no doubt oversee whomever is on code, so "Lonnie on code" doesn't worry me.
(But it wouldn't worry me either way tbh. I understand that Lonnies games may fall a bit short in depth for a couple of you guys, but I'm not in that level. Star Trek Stern is one of my favorite games and it is a Lonnie game.)

Good point re: Stern Star Trek - it's a great game (including the code). I feel better now

Is Bill & Ted’s still on the radar or was that rumour quashed?

    #183 4 years ago
    Quoted from DS_Nadine:

I think this is not even a rumour, altough (only) I act as if it will come out on tuesday.
I have no doubt Stranger Things will be a great pin,... but I like a "fun" pin.
Bill & Ted is a movie I've forgotten till Jack Danger made that mockup, but seeing that I have all their lines back in my memory and with that some youthful light heartedness. I'd like to have that in a game. The story would be excellent for some obvious rules (collect historical figures) and toys (phonebooth, that maybe lifts up & down and does other stuff), the Music would bring fond memories, and the callouts the humor.
So I'd be absolutely in on that game!
Edit: Oh and I love Medival Madness for that "humorous" reason.

    You have great taste

    Thank you Brian
