Optic switches are receiving 5volts on transmitter side, 3 volts on receiver side, and none work. Any ideas?

Quoted from DCRand:Hi, bumping this hoping to find that one Capcon guy who has a clue what might cause this problem.
If you don’t get a response try bumping it during the day, my midnight threads never get seen

Good idea will try it.
Thanks and no real help from diagnostics. And sorry, I’m an em guy crossing to the dark side so don’t know the ss classifications.
Which optos are you referring to? Looking in the manual, it appears the game has 3 opto assemblies. Whatever the case: if there's a wiring connector plugged into the opto board, try unplugging and reseating the connector. If that fixes it, you'll want to re-flow the solder to the header pins on the opto board and re-pin the female connector that plugs into it.
Another tip: your cell phone camera can usually see the light coming from the opto even though it's invisible to the naked eye--it can be an easy way to tell if the opto led is working (though it's not necessarily a definitive test)
