I think breakshot will be my next pin. I love the modern style with dmd, but has the classic single level playfield and no ramps. Anyone know of any other DMD pins with a modern nostilgia?

Not quite the same, but I would throw WCS94 out there. Magnasave and four rollovers are throwbacks and I enjoyed that aspect very much. Not that I have owned a bunch, but I miss my WCS94.

WCS94 is an amazing game. Just a LOT of fun.

Jackbot is a DMD remake of 1986's Pinbot. Identical playfield/layout, much better sound, music and most importantly rules. Still a bargain, one of the best bang-for-the-buck pins available.

Breakshot is a great pin I own one. Everyone that plays it really likes it.

Breakshot is a great pin! I just got mine fully working yesterday and I am excited to get home and play it. It is such a pretty game when it is all cleaned and polished up. Those big caps on the driver board are a bitch though.

I play Breakshot in my virtual pin cabinet all the time.
Tons of fun.

I have one that was recently shopped here in IL if your interested.

Got one recently for the same reason. I like it... but, if I could go back in time... I probably would have gotten something else. Not much there. If you've played it at a show or a buddies... you've probably really enjoyed it and seen all you needed to see. Unless someone reworks the rules... like CCC.... I'd say think again....

Sorry I should have stated I will be looking to actually buy one by next year. Trying to save and add to the 500 I have now. Hoping I will get a decent amount of taxes back this year.

BShot is a fun game. I liked mine when I had it. I think WPT is an old-meets-new feeling game. The open playfield and sixteen drop targets along with the funky sounds/music make it feel old-school. But with the KJ rules, SR playfield and metal ramps it feels new.

Breakshot was one of my first pins, and I still have it. It is a fun game and is built with Capcom quality. I had remembered playing it when it first came out, and it was high on my list. It would be hard for me to ever part with mine. The fact that you can get a nice one at or below 2k is a bonus.
As for your question about similar games with this kind of nostalgia, I don't know of any others.

Orginally thought I wanted a breakshot. Now I am thinking super mario world. Somthing the kids would also like.
