After moving my breakshot, it has now decided to act up. Initial problem was lost the DMD display - completely blank. Checked the power board for known issues and everything checked out okay. Next checked fuses and connections - all good. It now will not start a game. PF lights power on and I get the whistle, but then it stops at that point - does not go into attract mode and cannot start a game.

I seem to recall having a similar issue a few years back and it was one of the rectifiers - don't remember which one.

Dropped it back in place with the pinball lift. Now will not power on at all

Caps look good, but I will re-flow the solder joints and report back. I have had to move the pin several times the past few weeks because of a remodel in the basement. Something has jarred loose from raising and lowering with the pinball lift. Was working fine day before yesterday before this last move.

Reflowed the caps on the power board. Nothing. Game is not turning on at all - completely dead. Don't know much about these games. Where do I check power coming to the power board from the transformer? Also, where do I check power on the power board?

Thanks,

Yes, completely dead. All fuses mounted on inside of the cabinet test good. Will check cable.

No power to the service outlet. Checked the power cord - thought that was probably it. Plugged it in snug and still nothing. Wall outlet is good. It is wired for four outlets and have two other pins plugged in and both are fine.

I now have power back to the Breakshot. Game turns on, have GI lights, get the whistle but does not go into attract mode, cannot start a game and DMDs are out. Reflowed the big capacitors on the power board. Is there a place to check power? Could it be the capacitors?
