Scroll down to the last one, 400V 35A wire leads.

    Get that one.

Whitestar driver boards use lug leads, not wire leads. They are the next ones up on GPE's site

Thanks for posting that, was able to get Ed before it was too late and he swapped my order for me.. Really appreciate it!

No problem. I just went through hell with an X-files so I was hoping to pass along some information if possible. Good luck with your reset. There isn't a whole lot of information out there for whitestars.

    Hi there

Hope someone can help me. My TSPP still has a resetting issue. Based on Silverball website. I can replace the Bridge (BRDG21) to sort this issue
    Link: http://www.silverballrestorations.com/category/pinball-repair-2/

Now based on the stern manual, the replacement for 5v DC logic should be 35a @ 100v (pic 1). However, I cannot find anything @ 100v. After more research at pinside I found this page.

It looks like 400v is workable in this situation. Sorry, I am not an electronic technician. I just try to fix this issue myself without creating more issue in the future.

My question is. Can this 35a @ 400v bridge does the same job as the other one listed by stern (35a @ 100v)? If yes, I would like to get one from this website

Once again thank you for your help.
    Best Regards
    Paul

Yes 35A @ 400V is fine. The part you link will work as a replacement.

However, replacing the bridge without confirming it's actually bad is not a good idea.

What is the 5V reading on the CPU?

    Quoted from Borygard:

What is the 5V reading on the CPU?

    Hi Rob
The reading is 4.75v. Measure from the 5v check point at CPU/ Sound board

The reading from power drive board is 5v measured from R114.

What other things could caused the lower voltage at CPU board

    Hi Rob
I think I fixed the issue. It was a bad connection. No more resetting now. Thank you for your advice.

    Great job!

With a voltage drop like that from the driver board to the CPU, the issue almost certainly has to be CN2 on the CPU.
