I've made some progress on my United Brazil. When powered on the lights now come on!

However when pushing the reset button nothing happens. When adding a coin or manually triggering the coin door nothing happens.

    Looking at the schematic https://bingo.cdyn.com/machines/united/brazil/resources/schem-brazil.png

Since the voltages coming off the transformer seem to be ok, I'm thinking I need to look at the reset switches on the far left of the schematic. Does that sound reasonable?

Before starting that troubleshooting - let's verify that your coil/motor voltages are working.

Turn the game off, then put some credits on the replay register. You can do this by pushing in the plunger on the left of the register when in the back of the game.

Turn the game on, then the credits should return to zero.

If that works, then you've verified your 50V line is working and your 120V motors are turning (well, at least one of them), and we can proceed.

Do you want to sell it ? I would be interested

I have verified the 50v works. When manually moved and powered on, it clanks forever trying to reset them back to zero. Looking at it, the solenoid on the reset side doesn't seem able to push all the way to click the wheel.

So I pulled the assembly, then pulled out the solenoid. Its in great shape, not sticky or anything. I then tried to manually push the plunger with the result that it still won't advance.

Here is a video of it: https://lyndenpublicschools-my.sharepoint.com/personal/butlerm_lynden_wednet_edu/_layouts/15/guestaccess.aspx?docid=0e38495a50b4b41769d3ed828f1bb7e37&authkey=AUJ_P_F_VYgS9krYC-9XCy8

looking at it closely, it looks like the little small brass lever that has the tiny spring on it should be moving and its not. I'm guessing that its post is gummed up. If I clean that post do you think that will solve it? should it just be clean, or put a drop of oil on it? Usually oil isn't recommended if I recall.

Can you move the other plunger?

I find it very difficult to move the step-down solenoid without the coil guiding it. It looks like you're moving the step-up solenoid, though?

Outside of the machine is difficult for me to visualize. You shouldn't need oil unless someone used oil previously - looks clean from this angle, though. Check the back for crud.

That's the way I read it, too. It looks like that short lever should be pulled in by the short spring so that it catches the gear tooth and pushes it forward on the next stroke. I'd put a drop of gun oil on the pivot point after freeing it up. I'd take the assembly apart and inspect for corrosion, then oil it.
