I just got my first project machine...Williams Bram Stoker's Dracula. I worked through all of the MPU battery damage issues and got the switches in order. However, I decided to attack the flashers next since the #26 Speaker Panel flasher wasn't working. It was wired to pin 1 on J124 of the Power CCA. since the flasher was not working I wired it "properly" according to the documentation which called out J128 pin 2. Well I believe that is what caused C11 on the Power CCA to go up in smoke...hope that's all it affected.

Does anyone know the proper wiring for this flasher?

Thanks in advance,
PJ

Different machine but same story, flasher and coil captured between 20 and 70 Volt. It can blow C11

Flasher #26 (Blu-Red) is on J124-2

Thanks man...so the pin was wrong not the connector designation. That would have been my next step but I wanted hear it from someone else before I blew something else up.

I made the same mistake about 15 years ago
The manual is incorrect, the label that's attached to the flasher connector is right.
