Hello everyone,

i'm new to the boards here but i'm watching this thread for weeks as i'm a hardcore BSD fan. I recently bought myself a Dracula cabinet in good shape. But i'm stuck with a boring problem that i think causes a lot problems to my game.

The problem: from the moment the machine is on every coil is popping like it's searching for balls. Even when all 4 balls are in place it's keep popping. So when i start a game you always hear some coils popping. Also the hole on the left above the mist multibal does not always recognize when a ball is inside due to this problem i think. Also when i'm playing "video mode" the coils keeps popping so my ball drains away while playing the video mode, so when the video mode is over the games searches for a ball that isn't there... Pretty frustrating.

Now i'm not a specialist when it comes to problems like this.. any help or tips would be welcome.

But i also replaced all the coils with new ones, still the problem is not solved.

And is it normal when you turn on the table that avery coils is popping ?

Can anyone help me what to do with those error messages..

Just checked the wiring i don't see any problems so far, the opto's are those little bulbs that detects the balls right, one is in a black housing the orher in a white ? I checked all of them with my iPhone camera and i don't see a purple light nowhere in the opto's.

Could all of them be broken ?!..

Could be possible i think because when i play a game he does not recognize a castle lock either.. also when in the opto popper (that's the one on the left where the ball comes when video mode is finished) he does not recognize it..

Guess i'll the pinball shops for opto's..

I'm starting with re-decal my cabinet think this is gonna look awesome when it's finished !!

About my errors that i previously posted i can only think of U19 & U20 being fried.

Nice !! I hope you find the problem.. and change the white flipper buttons back to original red looks better i'll post pics of my cabinet soon she's almost done... like new !!

I got a question, if you guys put new rails, legs & lockbar on your machine and want it to be red are you gonna paint them or powdercoat ?

Just finished with mine, this machine was left for dead but i blew new eternal life into it

The chrome is just with peel and stick. found it on Ebay. Just did it because this pinball is going to stand next to Ac/Dc & Metallica from Stern.

Chrome is just like a sticker. Peel off and put it where you want it to. very strong.

The leds are from Pinballbulbs yes very beautiful, in real life looks twice as good as on the picture.

I had the same problem with mine..

First of all check ALL fuses for broken ones, second check all optos if any eyes or wires may have come loose.

Most of the time the problem is out there..

If that's not fixing the problem check your prints behind the backglass maybe some are burned or broken.
