Just a quick question...I have one of these (BSD) in my shop and its the only one have had over the years. I still have not set it up and played it. Its 4th or 5th in line to get shopped. So, what makes this a keeper? Im limited on space like most of us, unless I want to move up and down stairs and I dont, getting old . I know this is subject to opinion but a few local pinheads found out I had this and overlooked the FT, WH20, BOP, TAF and TZ and wanted to buy this one. Im just curious while I work on the other pins.

I decided to remove (my) crappy character plastics above the slings. The were not original because they had the white background. Early run? Prototype? Crappy remake? dont know...SO, I made some plastic protectors to give it a little "pop". I had to remove some of the washers under the nuts and I also added the red posts where one of the stand off were on each sling. I need to fine tweak these this week before I can offer them here on pinside. LMK what you guys think!

After doing some tweaking I finally got these Sling and Return lane plastics ready to go. They look killer in person, the pic does not do justice. They are available in my shop here on Pinside or on ebay if your out of the US if interested. Any questions just let me know.

I have made several clear ones for Metallica, I cant see why I couldn't for any WMS/BLY games as well. If you need one or cant find one drop me a line. When I get a chance I will get one made and list them here or on ebay. Way cheaper than $100 on ebay if thats what they are going for (havent looked).

I have never taken mine apart to look at it. I think its one piece according to the ColorDMD web site. They point you to another site that has a clear one piece plastic with the speaker graphics on it ($100). I will look at mine tomorrow and get back to you unless someone else clarifies it before then.

I was under the assumption that it was just the clear like on my Metallica. I can cut the acrylic/PETG but I cant do the graphics (yet). The direct print printer is very expensive and covid screwed up my business plans to get one. It may be a year or so before i can look into it again. It will cheaper for me to out source the printing, so at this point (depending on how the graphics are applied) $100 dont seem bad at all.

There are two versions of this plastic. Here is mine. I made some protectors for someone and was made aware of the differences. I dont think mine is anything special but I did have the weird prototype looking plastics on the slings. Everything else appears to be standard.
