Joined the club this weekend after finding a pretty good BSD from a local pinsider. Now embarking on a fairly ambitious restoration. Everything works as it should, and it plays well with very minor playfield wear to be fixed during shop out. About to start said shop out and looking for a lighting guide (already has LEDs but it is heavy on white lighting and i am moving to something similar to BLACK_ROSE blue/red/purple harvest moon light scheme with customization)? I searched this forum and others and haven't been able to find a lighting guide (other than the back glass) and the manual seems to not be all inclusive or even accurate in a lot of places. Anyone got a lighting guide they can share? I am trying to just buy/replace the specific bulbs i need too achieve the look since it already has nice LEDs in place. Thanks.

Other work in progress:

Pinsounds+ board and premium speakers, polk 10” sub, retro blades, hd non-glare glass, bent plastics, full cliffy set, cab resto with new decals, clear plastic protectors, all new lighted buttons, blue graveyard under/over lighting, werewolf mod, black mirror balls, afterburner blue pop bumpers, and more. I’ll add some pics as the resto progresses.

Anyone have a pic of the coffin ramp shield that keeps the ball from hitting the bottom of the left ramp/wire ramp? Mine is missing and trying to source it make one. Can anyone confirm if it is here: https://www.fabunlimited.com/pinball/bram-stokers-dracula-pinball-clear-replacement-plastics-2-piece-set Thanks.

Quoted from dudah:

That's the one. If you have access to a laser cutter I will happily share the vector file.

Thanks for confirming and the offer. I went ahead and ordered from the link i provided for example.

Need some help. Flipper board failed and replaced with new rottendog board. Flippers work perfectly again but now the castle lock coil fires and stays energized on at power on and releases on power off. I have tested the Castle optos and opto board and they all test good. I tested the transistor with my DMM that i think drives that coil (Q78?) and it test good. I have tested voltage on tp1 and it is correct. All leds are reflecting normal status per manual. Traced wires and cannot find a short. I have reached the end of my troubleshooting knowledge. Can any of you please advise what i should chase next to resolve?

Quoted from Zee:

That solenoid (#35) is driven from the fliptronic II board, or in your case, the aftermarket replacement board. You might want to contact them with the problem.

Thanks. I will reach out to rottendog. I didnt know that board drove that function.

After playing a bsd on location i realized the one i own is missing a short post on the coffin ramp wire frame that is below the coffin ramp switch and mounts thru the bottom of the wire frame supporting it from below. Does anyone know the proper height post for that location? Thanks.

Quoted from CoolCatPinball:

I have an SP playfield that came with my game when I bought it. The previous owner was going to have it cleared and put it in. I just bought a new Mirco instead.

How has your experience been with the micro bsd playfield? I need to swap my bsd eventually but concerned with some of the reports of bad micro playfields pooling and cracking after a few months in another thread here on pinside.

Quoted from CoolCatPinball:

Well, so far, I'm still doing the playfield swap. I can say the clear coat is like glass, and thus far, the dimples on the back to mark drill holes are at least close. Many are dead on. This is my first time using a Mirco playfield, so I hope it holds up in the long haul. Previously I've done two playfield swaps using CPR playfields, and those guide dimples weren't even close. Some were a far as 1/4" off. The major holes and cutouts are dead on from both manufacturers. So, I can't really say how durable the playfield is, but I'm thrilled with the playfield based on appearance and fitment so far. I wasn't very happy with my RadCals I ordered at the same time due to color variations.

Thanks for the feedback. Did you do the mirrored rad cals? I was looking at ordering both the playfield and mirrored rad cals in the next month or so.
