Quoted from Ballsofsteel:yes I understand that, I was asking to which terminal on the coil (left side or right side) does the red wire and the black wire from the connector go to. I do not have a connector coming from my coil to attach to.
thanks.
Nerdygrrl's first photo shows this clearly. Black left, red right.
Quoted from SSrig:Congrats Nate! I would take a filthy BSD over a minty CCC or all the others I gave the boot. Put that next to Flash gordon and see which is more brutal.
Thanks Don! FG is still in pieces but it will win hands down as most brutal, also the most fun!
I miss the Shadow a bit but BSD wins in the "just one more game" category!
Quoted from mikerob34:Opinions please....traditional red or color DMD? Having one restored and just wanted to see what people liked better/would recommend. I like the red as is but the color looks really cool from what I have seen.
I dont think there will be a color dmd made for BSD as the speaker panel has a red filter. You would need to replace the speaker panel along with the DMD.
Quoted from Erik:There are few things more emasculating than starting Mist MB, hitting a weak shot, and watching the captive ball grab it and slowly drag it all the way across the pf in front if you
It's the worst "helpless" few seconds isn't it?
Quoted from 27dnast:They are saying it's on their list to have done in 2015 (Starship Fantasy)
Yep, I talked to them at Zapcon this year. Fingers crossed!
Quoted from galaga50:Are the words 'Love Never Dies' directly under the DMD meant to light up?
Yes, 3 flashbulbs back there. CT's love never dies kit adds a color changing strip that is lit all the time.
Quoted from joe2012:Get Klein magnetic nut drivers @ pinball life. Joe
Yuuuuuup, magnetic nut drivers and screwdrivers are worth every penny!
Quoted from funchaser:Hello
I recently purchased the Dracula coffin mod and I'm now just getting around to installing it. Question to those who have already done so: is this supposed to fit over the existing light board (see the 1st pic below)?
IMG_1229_use1_(resized).JPG
With the light board on, mine does not fit completely (see pic #2).
IMG_1232_use2_(resized).JPG
If you look at pic #3, you can (hopefully) see that the opposite side is not flush and has a slight protrusion in the middle. Wanting to know if an additional step needs to be done with the light board, or if I received a defective unit.
IMG_1239_use3_(resized).JPG
If anyone has any insight, it would be much appreciated! Thanks!
You need to remove the lightboard.
My left side is nice and red, the right side red is COMPLETELY white. I dont think ill change it, ive had several mild mannered arguments with folks that absolutely dont beleive the white was once red. Non-pinheads of course
Any solution you find acceptable is good. For the best paint results its an easy frisket mask and airbrush/rattlecan job to avoid brushstrokes or markerlines. My completely white side has kinda grown on me over the years...
Quoted from Cariba:Anyone car to share if they are using Pinstadium's lighting system on their BSD?
Or a DIY version?
I tried them…turned out great! Looks like a jjp game now.

Quoted from Pinkitten:I’m not usually a big topper person. With the gothic feel of this title and literary origin, I thought this was a creative addition for under $100.

Whats with the translite?
Quoted from Pinkitten:I’ll need more specifics on your question. It’s just a custom one I had made that my 5 year old son liked better.
[quoted image]
My buddy’s son was scared of mine too
Good work pops
Quoted from Bohm:What are you guys using to mount the slingshot promo plastics?
I used this…

Quoted from mollyspub:You must need glasses!
I love the artwork, just dont think it fits with the rest of the game art. Id def put it in a lit frame and hang it.
I also would miss the og translite, its perfect
Quoted from aobrien5:Who are the electronics experts in here? I see some corrosion between C9 and R11, but everything else on my 24" opto board looks good to me. Other opinions?
[quoted image]
Yep looks like c10 puked
Quoted from Spitfiren8:Yep looks like c10 puked
On closer look someone’s done some not great solder work at c9 and r11. Looks like the resistor got smoked at some point.
