Hello friends. I am new to the forum from the other side of the world ... From Spain.
I join the club because I'm a happy owner of this fantastic pinball.
I'm in the process of restoration, I hope to share with you the outcome of my beloved BSD.

Greetings.

Quoted from MrBellMan:

Here is a picture of my game with some LEDs on the playfield and back box. Makes a huge difference. Not sure if you can tell or not, but I put RED LEDs under the D R A C U L A inserts and it looks a lot better than the original orange...
Rob

Hello MrBellMan. It's amazing the backglass of your BSD.
If not too much trouble, you can upload a photo without the glass????
I love the result and I would like to know the colors used to make mine so

Thanks and regards.

Quoted from MrBellMan:

Glad you noticed. It looks even better in person... I have separated the blue/white lamps a bit to get the most of the blue clouds and the reds of the letters in Dracula. The violet on the bottom really makes the battle field scene it's own image and no longer just blends with the images around it.
This picture shows the colors. Everything else is just regular 555's or cool white LED's. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much ...
Do you know the great contribution you have made to many people ... The result is spectacular.

Thanks again

Quoted from MrBellMan:

I have the exact same issue on mine. When I launch the ball it only hits the drop target maybe 25% of the time. I can't tell if it's hitting the metal gate or just not launching fast enough (although my plunger is aligned and seems to be working well)... Very frustrating, but I have not spent a lot of time trying to trouble shoot it either. If this is a known issue, I hope some one can tell us the fix...

Also I have the same problem on my BSD.
The ball skill shot rarely hits the target ... If someone felt the same and managed to fix the problem, I would greatly appreciate to share with us the solution.

Quoted from yzfguy:

My game was missing the drop on launch also, turned out the flap on the shooter lane ramp had a crease bent into it. I was afraid I would snap it, bit I bent it back so it is straight and that did the trick. The bend was slowing the ball.

Thanks for the advice.
In my next order will include these parts, to see if once solved ...

Quoted from DougPiranha:

Anyone have a source for BSD cabinet decals?
I have a line on a bsd with a bad cabinet.
thanks

I join the request of DougPiranha ...
If someone can pass them, I'll be eternally grateful XD

It really is an impeccable job with the LED on the backglass.
It is normal peers interested in this successful combination of LEDs.

MrBellman, congratulations again for the great work. XD

As it is difficult to get a set of slingshots promo plastics ...

Someone has some file or scan to make a reproduction????

I'd be eternally grateful.

#561 10 years ago
Quoted from Thor-NL:

Promo ? or Proto
For slings and proto, take a look here : http://www.bestofpinball.de/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/11770
ATM out of stock, but they are very nice repro's. Same goes for the regular slings.
Perhaps shooting them a mail will give you answer when they are available again

Exactly, proto plastics ...
However, no one has a file or a scan of these plastics???

Quoted from HighProtein:

¿De qué color de la capa del polvo de las piernas en la mía?
NO RED
azul, púrpura o Negro?

I'll take the black ...

I like more the skulls you see in the cemetery.
We can say, as is this mod????????

#744 10 years ago
Quoted from Rock914:

Just posted some undercab lighting for this machine on my own thread if anyone is interested.

I love this mod!
Can you explain how you did it????
A strip of LEDs per color or RGB strip has been used????
You have connected the strip directly to the flash???

Thank you.

The white rubber bounce more and get a faster game.
In my case, I put the black rubber BSD fit as well and Have less maintenance, ie, is not so much dirt ...

Sorry for my English translator.

Quoted from chadderack:

Just bought one a few days ago from Georgia... it will eventually make its way here.
Then it's... "TEN! Million. TEN! Milli--TEN M-TEN! Million!" for a while
Haven't played it since '93 (when it was new); this one will be a keeper.

Greetings!!

Very nice!!

Thanks for the welcome

Great BSD machine. A pinball undervalued and despised by many users. Hours of fun guaranteed with this "different" pinball ...

Congratulations on your purchase!!

Quoted from bobrows:

Could someone post a picture of the droptarget switch (long bent metal part of switch too) and how it is aligned on teh drop target? I am missing the switch arm, and have to make a new one and make the skill shot work again!
thanks,
Bob

A picture is worth a thousand words ...

Quoted from aobrien5:

Is that target supposed to be yellow? mine is black.

Mine is black too ...
That image does not belong to my BSD, found on the internet.
I guess that is what you need mate.

#983 10 years ago
Quoted from bobrows:

I'll give it a go and let you know if it works. When the ball hits this target, it is supposed to freeze the rotating gargoyle heads. It is this switch that triggers it, right?
Bob

Exactly.
Good luck with the repair.

Raven: here are 2 pictures! on from the cabinet and one from my selfmade decals for the D-R-A-C-U-L-A
The A currently won't light its not the lamp and not the connector - have to search for the problem
