Quoted from dr_nybble:

My apron is screen printed. I repainted mine with stencils and airbrush. If this is in your wheelhouse I can give you the artwork.

My apron has decals that look like they are originally
I checked also other pics and it seems they also had decals on them.

Was there different versions of Aprons (decaled vs screen printed) or do you have some special version?

#7902 31 days ago

Mine has decals but they are very well done I thought it was printed at first but when you hit it with some direct light you can see the edges. My guess is people think it's printed but they are all decals.

#7903 31 days ago

Just checked, I have one apron that is directly screen printed, and one that is done using decals (that also appear screen printed). I guess they did them both ways. The difference between them is obvious when I have them side-by-side.

I prefer the look of the screen printed one.

Just added Missing coin Mechs

Interesting that there are 2 different types exist that seem to be stock

I've restored a number of BSD's and have also seen both screened and decals. Both of them original.

Doing a PF swap for a friend. How do you attach the large plastic ramp to the post in the upper left corner? I know how it mounts with the graveyard unattached, but with it mounted on the ramp you cannot screw it to the post.
thx

Graveyard should be attached to ramp first. Then ramp goes in back panel cut out then it sits in place.

So It's not attached to the post, just sits on it? That's how it was when I took it off.
thx

after sit on post it has an screw to put in the ramp into the post. I’ll send you a pic later.

#7912 28 days ago

that would help.
thx

#7913 28 days ago

Even before new art, the inserts look much better, imo.

#7917 27 days ago

Thx, but I'm talking about the post that supports the main ramp under the grave yard. The ramp has a mounting hole for a screw but it cannot be acceded if the gave yard is attached to the ramp.
No worries. I'll figure it out.
thx

In mine it just sit on.

In mine, too. Since the grave yard is attached to the ramp with three screws, the ramp plastic cannot be attached to the metal post...

Exactly, very odd.
thx to all.

#7921 26 days ago

In mine I did a hole in ramp below graveyard and a red light inside.

I’m replacing a standup target and this center plastic on my machine which was broken. What do I need to have for the back post to secure it? or does the plastic just sit on the back posts?

There are two versions of this plastic. Here is mine. I made some protectors for someone and was made aware of the differences. I dont think mine is anything special but I did have the weird prototype looking plastics on the slings. Everything else appears to be standard.

Anyone bought this translite? If so, how is the quality? Do you like it? Looking to get the bloody version.

Thanks

I have the non-bloody version of this BSD translite and I really like it. The quality is very good and I like it much better than the original BSD translite.

Did you make any changes to the backbox lamps to suit the new translite?

#7928 24 days ago

I did not sure how well you can see in these pics. In person the blue is way more subtle it just gives it a bit of depth. I original had more LEDs but they over saturated it so I went with incandescent with the browns and reds in the bottom half.

No changes were made to the backbox lamps. All I did was swap out the OEM translite with the alternate translite.

I also went with the non-bloody version. I love this translite.

Although I recently switched mine out because I got a mirrored CPR backglass. But I installed a chrome lift channel and new trim on the glass, so this translite is ready to go back with the plastic channel and trim intact if I want to switch it out, plug and play.

I had such a frustrating game last night. On my first ball I managed to stack all three multiballs TWICE, and yet I failed to capitalize on either of them. Even with two extra balls, my final score barely topped a billion.

I'll be doing a small run of 5 pieces shortly. The price of my supplies has gone up significantly since I first created this mod (thanks to time and COVID), but I will be keeping the price at $180 USD for Pinsiders. As usual, I'll require a $50 deposit with the remainder due AFTER you receive your tracking number.

Price includes tracked shipping within North America. Worldwide price is $220 (blame Canada Post).

PM me if interested and I'll send you a PayPal invoice.

I should have a BSD here any day now.

How do cool white LEDs look in this game? I'm moving away from color GI, not sure if warm or cool white would look better.

I went like this. Is really nice game to do 2 or 3 colors (that’s for me ).

I maybe interested...can I see it installed? Is there LED lit inside?

LOL I have sunlight in every one of my games.

I'd go with sunlight or warm white. Cool white is just TOO white and has a bit of blue to it.

#7941 21 days ago

My general rule is cool white with blues, warm with red, orange and yellow. Since BSD has both Sunlight is the correct answer.

Always looks the best… but definitely some irony in that sunlight will destroy Dracula.

As do I. Comet Sunlight bulbs are great because they're right in between cool and warm, but more brighter than warm.

No, the mod is lit by the flashers underneath

Back in the club for a second go-round!
Sold my first game back in 2010, now have another (better) example.
Always regretted selling my original machine. Happy to have one back in the fold.

So with Brock's coffin mod...what happens to the tombstone and lights? I have a BSD and the tombstone remains jammed behind the coffin mod which looks kinda janky.
