Hi guys. I have a new to me BSD. It looks and works great with the exception of the mist multi . When I turn on the machine it goes through its , I assume, normal coil checks. It will kick the ball from the right staging area. The right rank comes up and it tries to kick another ball to the staging area. Upon the first try it is unsuccessful because there is no ball in the shooter lane. If you look in the area between thr flippers, the trough. I guess , there is still a ball sitting there. It will finally kick over to the other balls in the trough and then a ball will hit the shooter lane and get kicked into the staging area. Sometimes it stays there and sometimes it relases and repeats this whole scenario . The mist magnet and motor work great. I have run the test and it works flawlessly. In fact if I run the test and start a game the game will go ahead and work perfectly until I turn it off for the day

I had some mist multi-ball adventures a few years ago. The URL below contains a lot of information that you may find useful as I was able to resolve my issue.

The thread is not huge and it may not be the exact problem that you are experiencing, but if you read through the entire thread of 22 posts and associated URL's it may help you out.
