I received a response to a local craigslist machine for sale ad I placed from "Brad Riggs". Initially it sounded semi-legit, but warning bells started to go off after one email when he copied and pasted the title of the ad in different fonts, used very broken English in responses (not that there's anything wrong with that, but with a name like Brad Riggs it seemed a bit off), seemed to forget the price he offered, gave me a phone number that seemed to belong to someone else (at least according to the reverse lookup directory I used) when I said I wanted contact information, and said he could only pay by cashier's check I wrote it off and stopped emailing. He never responded again after that.
