Quoted from cards25:Did anyone else watch this and still not know whats going on?
It was weird for a few reasons. First, the game was in tournament mode (wild card awards were fixed) and extra balls awarded points, but WOF multiball was set to factory. Normally in a tournament it would be set to hard. Secondly, he had that one weird game where he stacked WOF multiball with a trip multiball, then stacked another trip multiball on top of that. It looked like the original trip to Chicago overrode the trip to Africa once the intro played, but I'd have to watch it again to be sure. Because the code isn't complete, feature lights and DMD text are incorrect during multiballs, which adds to the confusion.
He briefly mentioned super loops, but didn't mention super bumpers, which can be far more lucrative. He also didn't talk about switching characters before solving a puzzle to maximize the payout, although he may ignore that due to the risk/ reward involved. I didn't see him do any post passes either, which I'm starting to do now.
Most of the other stuff I was familiar with, although I wasn't aware that the second wild card award is solve puzzle. That's huge. I rarely aim for wild card, but will more now. Without watching it again, it seemed like the game was running version 5.0. Maybe Bowen (or someone else) can do another tutorial later on version 6.2, which adds a couple of wrinkles.
