I think once im done with it she will be dam nice.it has full mylar that is only lifted on 2 or 3 inserts so I think im gonna leave it ? Game plays 100 percent and every bulb works which is very surprising and awesome. It has a few chipped plastics and illl probably just order a new set if they are available? Flippers are newly rebuilt and even has new displays . Only thing it really needs is a cabinet speaker and decals for the 3 spinning wheels and a full shop out with leds. This is my first system that isnt a wpc so im glad it dont need a whole lot bc I dont have many extra parts for it at the moment .20150612_204032.jpg20150612_204032.jpg20150612_203911.jpg20150612_203911.jpg20150612_203901.jpg20150612_203901.jpg20150612_203848.jpg20150612_203848.jpg20150612_203814.jpg20150612_203814.jpg20150612_203805.jpg20150612_203805.jpg20150612_202726.jpg20150612_202726.jpg20150612_202458.jpg20150612_202458.jpg20150612_202429.jpg20150612_202429.jpg

#3 8 years ago

Wow, that one looks nice!
Mine has some crazy wear on the discs. Also have the full Mylar. (But with a poor Mylar job, that is..)

Looking forward to see led pictures.

Dang that looks nice. Are the ramps that dirty or do they need a flame polish?

#5 8 years ago

#6 8 years ago

Been playing it and what a fun pin just like I remember cant wait to get it done and back together in a week or 2.

#7 8 years ago

Getting shit done lol 20150613_024853.jpg20150613_024853.jpg20150613_024811.jpg20150613_024811.jpg

Man these system 11 pins are a pain compared to the wpc play fields that you can pull out. Am I missing something ? There a easier way?

#9 8 years ago

Congrats
Great game always fun.

Pull pf out of the game. Whirlwind isn't even that bad. Earthshaker is awful.

Out of the game ? Put where? Do I neec to unhook all the wires?

#12 8 years ago

Front cleaned and side look to be near perfect so far.this is how dirty she was yummy20150613_055402.jpg20150613_055402.jpg20150613_055432.jpg20150613_055432.jpg20150613_055537.jpg20150613_055537.jpg

#13 8 years ago

I've had games that were that dirty under the apron too. Good thing all the metal parts come off easily.

#14 8 years ago

Its really bad in the back part oc playfield also . Plus the ramps are really really bad

No the wires are long enough to pull the pf and set on a rotisserie or jawhorse. Just tilt the pf up 90 degrees from the cab, rest your forearms on the siderails holding the pf and leverage the pf out of the cab. Set it down next to the cab and put a heavy blanket on the cab to rest the pf while you prep your rotisserie. 2 people make this very easy.

#16 8 years ago

I dont have a rotisserie tho lol two saw horse's maybe lol

#17 8 years ago

Nice pickup! That's coming out nice.
You are really not wasting any time!

#18 8 years ago

It sld be really nice the one bad thing is the one side of the head has a scratch and chip that someone touched up not so good .its not horrible but the rest of the cab is near perfect .this pin apparently was in a home since mid 90s sk it didn't have much time in the wild and you can definitely tell.

#19 8 years ago

I cld use a few plastics if anyone has any extras or old ones in good shape?

#20 8 years ago

Got the playfield all cleaned up and waxed and I must say for a ww it turned out pretty dang nice.20150615_230242.jpg20150615_230242.jpg20150615_230231.jpg20150615_230231.jpg

#35 8 years ago

Nice.

Never played a Whirlwind before and I had no idea it had 6 Pops!!!! Combined with 3 spinning discs, must be some crazy ball action at times - just like a Whirlwind I guess.

#36 8 years ago

Spent the whole night getting it together and playing nice and it turned out super nice and you can definitely tell its been in a home for most its life. Still waiting on cliffys and spinner decals but for most part shes done.20150619_041337.jpg20150619_041337.jpg20150619_041402.jpg20150619_041402.jpg

Actually you were the first to say you be interested, but im really trying to find a way to keep it I put 30 games on it last night and realized how much I love everything about it .

#48 8 years ago

you'd have all kinds of space if you sold that TZ

#49 8 years ago

Looks great! Nice job cleaning it up too

If you were near Chicago I'd try to buy it from you. If you have any plans to come to Chicago, please PM me!

Believe me ive thought about it bc its tieing up a ton of money and space but every time I get talked out it by my lady and local friends. Not bc it gets played a ton but bc its probably the nicest pin I own bc it is a huo and ive put a ton of money in mods in it . It is the staple of my collection as far as im concerned and is what drives me to get other pins to match its beauty.
