I have a Buckaroo for restore, needed a bottom board replace but all seems and edge lips were good. Rip out the bottom board piece by piece, cut a slot starting from the inside, finishing on the outside, use a hand saw to get close to the edge, check the slot, then slip in the new bottom board. Need to glue on some cleats and then get some 1/4 inch material to fill the slot. A little bondo and a repaint coming up.

Good for another 50 years.

I'd clean it up and leave the original cabinet paint alone on that one.

Still a bit of a bummer. I've never been a fan of cabinet repaints unless the cabinet was shot. Especially on the standard version of my favorite pinball of all time (Cowpoke of course).

On further review the other side of the cab is pretty bad, lots of paint loss. Althou a paint over is usually my criteria I canr fault the owner wanting a redo.
