I have a Mariner I am working where someone felt the need to cut al the wires of the coin system except the one for the coin and credit.

Would like some pictures of the left side of the bottom board where I can identify the wiring, even the lead is "mislead" on this one.
I already placed a bunch back in its place and replaced some relays, but it is quite a lot to chew, about 20 or more wires cut of.

Machine open, camera charged, lemme know if you need more specific pics.

Thanks for the pictures, makes a lot clear already, on this machine there is also a relay added reading 2DM for extra credits I think.

If I'm seeing it in the right way, the lead (black) goes from the lock back and ends on the reset relay?
If you have a picture from the tilt backwards to the last relay, here is a part of "making your own line" done, even some lines added for making the outhole work and a strange way to add credits.
Removed most of it already, now making it complete again.

Door has only the two wires for the credit button, so, for this winter I will have something to do.

So glad I could help. I really appreciated your help with my Little Joe!
Let me know if you need anymore pics. I'll be around most of the day messing with the pin-project I picked up last weekend

For now...I can rewire the lead and a lot of other wires.
Thanks, felt like a (almost) mission impossible...
Doesn't say that it will be fixed in a couple of days, more like weeks.
But, always better than using it for parts.
Will post pictures when it is up and running again.

Glad to hear.
Yeah, it's too good of a machine to use for parts.
Let me know if there is anything more I can do to help.
Looking forward to pics when it's up and running!

If it makes you feel any better, this is my project that got cut up. Good luck! Never say never!

This is my 1963 Bally Star-Jet project. Highly desirable and rare, some call it the "EM grail" due to the multiball function and super desirable space art package. GRC/Gameroom Collectibles painted swear words on it, smashed it up and cut up the harness to part out the machine, I saved it at last second. Most of it was already boxed up in pieces. It was a working machine. There are less than 25 or so known to still exist worldwide with only 1,050 originally produced.

I am rewiring the head from scratch.

People who trash machines like this one (or all machines in general) do not deserve to be near a pinball.
I am not going to say here, what should be done to them......
I am glad you are taking up this massive endeavor.
