Is that the bridge rectifier again? Had to change one a few months ago and that solved the problem. I know that 99% of the times flipper resets caused by hitting both flipper buttons are the bridge rectifier taking a day off. Did it go on strike again, or could there be an underlying problem causing the BR to fail?

Also check the "Z" connectors in the back box, cleaning them has stopped 2 of my games from resetting.

I think that myth has pretty much been dispelled over the years (unfortunately internet articles live on forever). Someone replaces a bridge and then assumes that was the issue when the problem goes away, but it was actually something else they did during the process (removing and reinstalling connectors, etc.). I won't say 99% of the time, but the majority of the time it's a connector. As others have said, follow the pinwiki guide.

Agreed. Measuring voltages along the path from the power driver board inputs to test points, and across the connector to will tell you a lot. There will be voltage drops, but hopefully they'll be insignificant.

Fortunately, those are some of the first steps in the Pinwiki guide!

Don't skip steps!

I agree don't skip steps. I did and found out I got a really expensive board repair because I was just missing screws.

Get rid of that Z connector after going through pin wiki's steps. Joe

Well... it takes seconds to measure the voltage drop across the Z connector from the power driver board to the CPU board. If it's like 0.02 V, that's fine. If it's 0.1 V or more, that's a problem. Reseating it will help temporarily, but it may not be the problem at all.

The effects of the Z connector are easy to measure, and if it's fine, it's fine

Anyway, i had this issue and all it was was a simple reseating of the j102 (or 103?) and it fixed it.
