i recently removed the pinball table to put side rails on a Congo. I checked all my connections after putting the pin back to working state and the flipper buttons (both) don't register in test mode but the flipper coils do fire and work correctly in test mode. Everything else seems ok. When I boot the pin I don't get any errors. I don't get any errors when getting into the menus. What do I need to look for. Thanks. Frustrating.

Do you have 12V at the opto boards? When you say the coils work, do you mean in coil test, or via the buttons?

Thanks for your help. I knew it was something simple and it was.... the wires for those opto boards were cut. Dah!
