Rob, I am going to bring a pile of WPC MPU's to PAGG for you to put sockets in for anyPin RAM.
I was hoping you could also replace LM7812 with a switching regulator I got from KAHR on a couple power driver boards.
Is that something you could do at the show?

That is the plan. However I in general am very intrigued by Kahr's technical analysis, and transition of the mpu away from the overworked 5v line. So, want to put the 12v regulator in to optimize that transition.
