Quoted from Ruger:

Look closer. They're there and they look painted to nearly match the Road Case cabinet. You can see how it rounds around the buttons. Either that or they painted the cabinet to make it look like they exist.

Look at the press release photos the premium has small little covers compared to the LE..

Ahh ic that now

I guess I don't understand why the LE's aren't delivered first.

More features = More code.

Code's still early on the Pros....so...yeah.

Makes sense.

First snake eye LED mod for sale in 3...2...1...

and probably leds for the hammer.

Quoted from Rarehero:

Nah, the AC/DC Premium has some artistic rendering to it, some cool designs, fonts, composition, etc. It also matches the overall art direction of the game. The Metallica Road Case translite is literally just a PHOTO...with no thought to composition or how it fits in with the rest of the game art.

Bingo!

#66 10 years ago

I like the Roadcase slightly better. Would look better in my line up. Stern offers both so its all good.

Now lets see some video of the Prem.

It's Wolverine on a stick!

Funniest post I've seen on Pinside!

i think it's a dumb comment... the Hammer is in the air, wolverine just hides half of the playfield

LOL...any comments about Wolverine, Iceramp, Hammers "blocking view" crack me up. Wolverine is big as f*ck...but he blocks your view of nothing. Shots to the left and right of him are visible, as is the ramp behind him. When the ice ramp swings out, all that is "blocked" is the area directly under it...which is nothing but blank playfield. You can still clearly see every shot in the game. I haven't seen the hammer in person yet, but again, it likely blocks NOTHING. You'll be able to see the captive ball under it, the snake and Sparky on either side of it.

Quoted from Aurich:

Confirmed, that translite is still hideous.

Agreed! Sure these will be the ones still on sale in a year

#74 10 years ago

The roadcase cabinet wouldn't be so bad if the translite wasn't so horrible. It's too bad they didn't so something different with it, could have been cool.

I can't think of another machine where we have 2 choices of premiums?

#75 10 years ago

First see in the wild before I can tell the hammer is ok. But it's huge

#76 10 years ago

That's what the girls says!

I would have freaked out if it was a little Sissy Hammer...looks like a Jugde Hammer
and that is the Point, and justice for all

#78 10 years ago
Quoted from Rarehero:

I can't believe they're actually making the "80's Gottlieb Edition"
Resale value for that version will be in the toilet. If you get one - get it for KEEPS.

Hilarious...allthough, the Genesis translite is almost so bad it is good...

I'm amazed they got Helena Bonham Carter to pose on the backglass.
