Rad Cals on BoP 2.0, easy to install and look good. Could have done a little better with the color matching on the paint behind the decals. Overall I really like them and it’s a big time saver

Noob here... what are radcals? Shiny new decals?

    #3 5 years ago

So on sys 11 you have to pull the rails?

    #4 5 years ago

sure don't line up worth a crap, 1/4 inch gap on corners and more on bottom??? is that from you cutting them short?

I pulled the rails for these, I think future decals might not need to do that but it’s a better fit to pull the rails

They sure look nice, but unless they fit perfectly like a decal I wouldn't use them. The corners look really tacky.

They are art printed on a sheet of plastic that is shiny on one side and adhesive on the other. They are way easier to install than traditional decals and look great. They are more durable and if scratched you could polish the scratches out

Better than a faded dirty cab and take about a 1/4 of the time of traditional decals to install.

Keep in mind these are first run and Mirco will make improvements.

bud, did you just place them wrong possibly? im planning on buying some, but first want to make sure they are worth the price. my impression was... you wasn't supposed to put them under the rails.

I do know he is working hard to fix the problems people have with them. I just wouldn't be happy with them as is. I am too anal. lol And yes it is better than a crappy cab and they do look very nice overall.

No, the button holes were pre cut, if I were to butt them up to the bottom of the rails there would have been overhang on the bottom of the cab to trim and the curve of these rails wouldn’t have looked right with the decals because they wouldn’t have been contoured to the rails.

In the future I would like the coin door decal to be about 3/16 wider and 1/4 inch taller. The side cab decals I would like to be 1/2 taller and 1/4 inch longer with no button holes cut.

yeah def still need some work on them. can't really believe they are charging people $400- $450 and they don't even fit right. kinda of a joke honestly. should send them to you at little over cost and then let your feedback help with improvements to get them made to size. If anything make them bigger than needed, and you could take a razorblade to them.

Surprised to see the big gap by the edges - unfortunately will not be buying any of these until that is fixed.

What exactly does Rad stand for?

He can make you whatever size you want I’m sure. Keep in mind these aren’t final production and he will be making adjustments and is open to feedback.

That would be the best way to do it. They should make a "how to" video for sending them your specific cabinet dimensions. Then the radcals would be a perfect fit and they wouldn't have to worry about cabinet variations.

Overall the printing looks excellent and I'm sure the fit will improve with feedback.

For comparison, here is how they came on my Hobbit LE. The simple truth is that I stopped noticing the 1/4" gap at the corner seams within a day of setting the game up. I wouldn't be surprised to find that this is how it will pan out for many folks that install them.
