I noticed the skill shot kicker was kicking weak on my Bride of Pinbot, not being able to shoot the ball out of the shooter lane without a few attempts. This happened about five times and then sol. 1-8 died. Fuse F105 blown. So I checked for any binding at the skill shot kicker and there was none. Replaced the fuse and tested. Worked fine fine for a test game. I took the skill shot kicker assembly apart, cleaned and replaced the sleeve just to make sure there was no issue. Fired her up and the kicker was weak again and after about 5 kicks the fuse was blown again. To me this seems like a binding/mechanical issue causing the fuse to blow but what the hell do I know.

Any tips on what to do next?

Lloyd, you told me to go look for a short and guess what? I found it!

I guess the coil moved enough for it to short on the arm. Obviously this can't be the way it was originally installed? So I reversed the coil, replaced the fuse and my Bride is healthy and happy again!
