I have had this, when in middle of the game when already on the eye face and restarted by pressing start. Hm but as oradke mentioned, could also have been in multiplayer, don't remember.
Anyway what helped was shutting down and restarting. Everything was fine again.

Quoted from TimO:

I just upgraded to 2.0 and that speaker practically doubles as a shaker motor.

Yes absolutely, that is really nice

No sound! Need help please. I have taken out my 2.0 kit and installed the original parts. Does anyone know where this cable is supposed to go? It comes from the display and speaker panel. I am hoping this cable is guilty of my sound loss. There is no sound at all right now.

I have to add, that i disconected the sub, because there was a loud humming noise. I tried the cables from the sub backwards as well, but no success.
I just read here that there will be no sound when the sub is disconnected. Could someone have a look, on which cable goes left and right on the sub, so that i can be sure?

Quoted from Mad_Dog_Coin_Op:

Bottom of the sound board. It is blocked by the heat sink but appears to be the one on the left.

That was it,thank you very much for your help, sound is back and everything is awesome again. Thank you
