My daughter has been playing BOPs on several locations. She‘s read books on sex education (like „Perfectly normal“, highly recommended!) and is a pretty unfazed kid. Also, living in Europe helps (for instance it‘s actually legal to show naked boobs here).

Nevertheless, I do appreciate your concerns - but I can assure you, we‘ve got it covered. She‘s more interested in the game anyway and is really looking forward to doing an inventory on all the metal parts.

Alright guys, I've started to check my new BOP for errors. First problem: The through switch does not register, so BOP never detects drains. I looked at the switch (it does click) and all the soldering points (look fine). What would be the next diagnostic steps?

THAT did it! Both the through switch AND the outhole solenoid had bad solder points, even though on visual inspection they looked good. A 5-minute fix - thanks for the hint!

I am about to. Just finished stripping the old playfield, so stay tuned.

Done with stripping, cables just out of the dishwasher!

Yeah - Mouth is red, eyes are plain white.

I see you used blue bumper caps and flasher domes. I did the same with my own BOP - I think it looks great! I also replaced the targets with white ones.

Hey guys! I got myself a PinSound and a shaker kit for the BOP, now working on a good shaker implementation. Will definitely make the heartbeats strong - any other suggestions/wishes?

Alright - I'm done! I implemented some subtle effects to compliment the gameplay (BOP not a theme like LAH afetr all!). Most importantly, the heartbeat sounds are actually distinct triggers, so I was able to implement short shaker bursts. The feeling of the heart after metamorphosis induces goosebumps!!!

I like the addition of the shaker a lot, gives the gameplay even more depth.

Looks like you need a new ramp and a new plastic!

As for the lights, invest in a LEDOCD and GIOCD, and then you can use LEDs while still preserve the fading. There's also a similar thign for the helmet lights. I put all three boards into my BoP and am very happy with it.

When I redid my BoP, I replaced all the red plastic parts with blue ones and fitted all bulb holders with cold white LEDs, then added blue convolux. Looks awesome, very modern sci-fi.
