I got my US kit but no instructions. Are these posted online somewhere and I didn't receive the link?

Thanks

Their site list the contents as including instructions?

The Full Kit contains:

Here is the Official EU Video. Will be very close to the same as the US version.

Read here of what not to follow in the above (assuming you are in US):

It's a fun game!

How is the plastic dmd cover supposed to mount to the speaker panel? There is no adhesive on the back of the plastic.

Thanks

I had to hold mine in position while I put the panel in place.

So it doesn't attach like on a typical pinball machine?

#7 8 years ago

No, and I was afraid to use an adhesive as I don't know the availability of replacement panels. I did swap in one of my Williams grills on the left side and the difference in thickness helped hold the cover in place.

It appears I didn't get the new fuse either. I am trying to follow the European youtube instructions. Does the US model also replace the existing fuse with a 1.6 amp fuse? I don't have a 1.6. Would a 2 amp slow blow be alright?

Thanks

Please see here https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/bop-20-help-thread#post-2217047

Because the display uses an external power source you don't need to change the fuse

I used some very thin double sided tape on my speaker panel.

You don't need to and shouldn't. Without the dmd draw the new fuse would be drastically overfusing the circuit, risking potential damage if there was an issue down the line.

OK, everything is installed, I think. Turned the power on and all I get is about 4 bulbs to light on the helmet and the red light on the backside of the video screen. Suggestions?

Thanks

It takes a minute or two to boot up...how long are you leaving it on?

#14 8 years ago

As soon as the game is turned on, that's all you get until the pc boots up. Is the pc even on? The shit down controller only works if the power switch is toggled from off to on while the machine is plugged into power.

It's not that bad, is it?

#16 8 years ago

Yes, I have left it on for several minutes and it does nothing. The screen is totally black. Should there be any activity on the screen as soon as you turn it on?

I have a red light lit on the back of the monitor, a red light lit on the bottom of the PC, several red lights and some rotating red lights on the P-ROC. No lights are lit on the computer startup and shutdown controller. Should there be?

Thanks

you should see a standard windows startup process

It looks like you may have missed a cable somewhere. Please check that the yellow and black cable is plugged into the P-ROC and the other end into the Startup Controller.

Did you wire the 2 thin wires from the pc to the startup board?

You got it Scott. I had the yellow and black cables plugged into the wrong spot on P-ROC.

Thanks
