What I am currently reading.

If you like horror you should read all of Thomas ligottis work. He is the living master now.

His stories will unsettle you.

I am reading these.

I would also say ready player one. For everyone. If you are reading this, you should read that.

Ready player one excited me on reading again. I love that magic.

Quoted from xsvtoys:

I also had all the Heavy Metals, threw them all away. Dammit.

It wouldn't surprise me if they reprint the entire heavy metal run in nice format hardcovers. Like the creepy and eeries.

If you like the old heavy metals you really should look at this book.

Another very good book I liked. I anxiously await the third part. Someday.

I think someday someone like Peter Jackson should film the name of the wind series.

I have read all of the books of blood. I had this version but sold it. It was signed to me.

I still have signed weave world and damnation game.

This was the best new thing I have read from Clive barker. A collaboration graphic novel.

I have read some joe hill and for Stephen Kings son he is not just some writer. He is good.

I read heart shaped box and his collection before that, 20th century ghosts. Both very good. I am going to read more.

When I first heard about him (as the son of King). I sort of cringed. But then I read 20th century ghosts. Now I just shut up.

Quoted from OLDPINGUY:

Can you share a bit?.....

Of course. No spoilers it is a bit hard. I would read it. It is a graphic novel. I think three trades covers the entire tale a 12 issue story I'm going off memory now.

Very good. Sort of billed as a hell raiser universe story, but with all new characters.

The main character thinks he is God and he might be. Very twisted I loved it. I can't give it away. If there is a sequel I will read it.

This story super God is also great.

Quoted from aobrien5:

If you liked Joe Hill, make sure to read his Locke and Key comic.
I'll tack my recommendation on to RP1 along with others as well.

I had read Locke and key before my stroke and three brain surgeries. I need to reread and see what is new, that I missed.
