    Quoted from JStoltz:

Boba Fett had some BRIGHT teeth in those desert scenes...

That was distracting - couldn't figure out if it was fake teeth, or if it was because his face looked so nasty.

Feels like I just watched a mashup of Lawrence of Arabia/Dances with Wolves/Star Wars

Never in my life have I enjoyed bad episodes just because a show got better.

It doesn't reflect well on the series that the only one I enjoyed was 5 episodes in and didn't feature the main character.

    Quoted from henrydwh:

All I am saying is Disney is finally giving us a story about Boba Fett and people don't like it because they had created their own version of Boba Fett over the last 39 years!

I feel this, but for different reasons - it feels like you're inventing reasons in your head why others might not like the show. At the end of the day, I don't find it entertaining. That could change - I don't recall liking the first 4 episodes of Mando either.

I don't care one bit about head cannon, actual cannon, or anything like that as long as I'm drawn into the story and universe.

    Quoted from HoakyPoaky:

But the action & the way it played out just wasn’t tense, or felt like there was any sense of danger. Not one featured character died through all that carnage, and it just dragged out until the Rancor showed up.

    Yep.

I'm betting the Ewoks could have taken those droids out.

Boba Fett and Mando take to the air in the jetpacks - good
Boba Fett and Mando land just to get shot a bunch - why? Fly, dudes. Use your Dark Saber, Mando!
Most of it just felt like a little kid playing with their action figures making "pew pew" noises
It's a shame the Dark Saber didn't come into play more, would have been cool to see some folks get wrecked or even Grogu wield it.
"Our guns do nothing against their force fields!" - every character proceeds to shoot them more. Props to the Wookie though for trying something different.

    Quoted from EternitytoM83:

Does anyone else stick around for the concept art during the credits? The change to the theme song for the finale had my daughter and I looking at each other like, "Wait, did it always have words?"

I wasn't sure if that was new or not, "How have I not heard them chanting Boba Fett before?

    Quoted from paynemic:

Please tell me all the people who loathe episode 7 (which I love) can see the difference in production value and writing here. If this wasn’t set in a universe I love, it would have been 100% unwatchable.
Dang. I feel terrible for saying all that. The good news is I’m easily convinced that all Star Wars is good so hopefully you’ll all be able to talk me down…

Being critical of things you enjoy is not a flaw and doesn't make you less of a fan, it makes you relatable. It wasn't a great episode.

    Quoted from Dkjimbo:

The Obi-Wan show will probably have callbacks and crossovers to this and god knows what else. That's part of the fun I think.

That would be confusing since Obi-Wan takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, and Mando/Boba Fett take place after Return of the Jedi (where Obi-Wan is an old man ghost).

    Quoted from frolic:

Tattoine has a very distinct look that's been established for 45 years. Places like Coruscant and Naboo had their own looks and technology. These bikes stood out in the worst ways. I'm generally more forgiving of Boba Fett, but that was a complete misfire.

I get where you're coming from, but ever go to a quiet, conservative town and spot the couple young folks with their dyed mohawks and leather? It kind of felt like that.
