This new Elwin/Bond 60th Anniversary Edition seems to have everyone’s head spinning.
Since Stern hasn’t set the price, Let’s have Pinside speak up and vote!!
What would you pay for this machine??

Cool facts:

- Elwin design : this dude’s stuff is top notch
- This edition includes all the different actors played Bond
- Single level playfield (kind of like the ole Ballys)

Vote!

$10k? What are you smoking?

#3 1 year ago

Place your vote bump and why you feel it’s what you think it’s worth if you want.

It’s a poll, just putting up a large range

#5 1 year ago

Won’t really know until I see and hear one TBH.

#6 1 year ago

What it is worth vs what it will cost are two different numbers imo

#7 1 year ago

What its actually worth, what I would pay and what it will actually cost are 3 vastly different figures. Which of the 3 should we vote on?

#8 1 year ago

Anything less than 50k and I'm not interested

#9 1 year ago

I'd be in on one at $6995. Anything more and I'm out.

#10 1 year ago

I am confused. Do I vote what I wish it was priced at? I’d buy one at 10k

#12 1 year ago

Okay I’m going to edit my first and say “What would you pay for this machine?”

#13 1 year ago

Ill pay $25,000.00

#14 1 year ago

So long as it’s for pleasure (and they have the honestly earned wherewithal) rather than greed, it’s worth what someone’s willing to plunk down for it.

#16 1 year ago

Where’s the “Nah” price point?

#17 1 year ago
Quoted from kklank:

Changed my vote from $30k (what I think it will cost) to $10k (because $7k wasn’t an option).

Fair enough.

Did I miss the formal release or something? How could I have an opinion on what I’d pay without seeing it?

Fuck this cash grab

I wish they were making more than 500. Just take orders for x amount of days and make that number.

#23 1 year ago

LMAO!

This sums up pinball prices and values

#24 1 year ago

No option is low enough, so I didn't vote.

It looks like a home pin. I'm guessing it will be a $5000-6000 actual value that they will severely limit, creating FOMO, and then jack up the price.

I see a Beatles diamond edition 2.0 happening

#25 1 year ago

Poll doesn't include other. I'd trade a game for it.

Well…since you’re a nice guy who likes dogs I’m sure we could agree on a +/- cash deal

#29 1 year ago

Wait? Elwin design? What am I missing? It’s an entirely different take on the game?

#30 1 year ago

I will have to play it first to give true price calling. What i see so far all our choices in the poll are silly price. I am fine with shaken or stirred on my drinks.

So far 38% of those polled have indicated they are prepared to pay $20,000 or more. 44 people.
10 people (8%) have indicated they would pay $30,000!
I might believe that if the poll wasn't anonymous.

What might I do with my own vote? Mmm. If I want the machine, I'll indicate $10,000 and hope Stern is watching the poll. If I don't want it, but hope to get a cheap thrill from hyping the price up, I might indicate a much higher price.
Mmm. Decisions, decisions. Do I want one, or don't I want one?

We’ve heard the opinions of many who don’t want to pay a lot for this game. I’d love to hear the reasoning behind some of the people who thought it would go for 30k or were willing to pay 30k for this machine.

Up to $1.25 per play.

#37 1 year ago

I voted 10k but honestly that's even nutz we just destroyed Spooky for 9k and that's a proven amazing game with a screen larger than a home pin! For those reasons I'm out!

#38 1 year ago

17,5

Fat , drunk AND STUPID is no way to go through life son.
Great movie. Lol.

#40 1 year ago

If it ends up being the best single-level game of all time, which is a strong possibility, I could maybe go nuts and spend like $9k. Which means I'm never getting one. Not super heartbroken, assuming the leaked art package is real. It's hard for me to think of an uglier game.

Voted $10k since that's within a stone's throw of my hypothetical limit.

#41 1 year ago

Street level game, Home edition screen? I wondered if it would be cheaper than the rest rather than more expensive! I know I'll be very wrong, but hey...

#42 1 year ago

Does anybody have an idea what the distributors are getting charged by Stern for this machine?
Obviously, it’s whatever the distributors think they can get on top of that.

I’m hoping the artwork is not their final rendering. It’s just awful to look at.

#44 1 year ago

The early speculation is distros get charged $15k.

#45 1 year ago

If my math is correct, 50 people that voted are willing to pay more than $17,500.
500 machines being made. 50 people.
That’s 10% of total games produced.
Not so sure these actually sell out if priced at more than $17,500.

#46 1 year ago

Where is the under $6k choice? For a basic stripped down 'classic' style game I would not want to pay anything more than $6k.

#47 1 year ago

$60,000. $1000 for every year seems about right.

So do you think its worth at least $15,5 Doogie the specin’ speculator?

I'm with you here. I LOVE the Bond theme...but I have to compare it to other pins I could potentially get at the same price...so at 15k, that is essentially saying you could have it or ANY OTHER GAME IN EXISTENCE.

You could also say it would get you an entire lineup of system 11 games, or for those waiting with baited breath...a car!

P.S. LOL! I haven't seen a cargument in awhile. I had to!!!

#50 1 year ago

Having seen the recent gameplay, I would easily pay $70,000 for this pin!

Unreal opportunity!
