Get a Bond Premium and just play it. The LE CE bullshit is ruining this hobby.

I’m pretty sure it’s not just that.

Watch what happens if the LE/CE goes away.

It’s the pricing and # that is destroying the Goose but they can’t help themselves

The Spooky version is wrong.

Stern and JJP have now F Ed it up.

The only thing about 1,000 LEs is that you get them first with Stern.

I’ll send pics

Go to any mall and ask 100 people (not that there are even 100 people at a mall anymore) would you enjoy a free toy story pinball machine or a free james bond pinball machine. Probably 70 percent on the people wont even know who james bond is........... Then go to the old folks home and ask the same question. I dont get the james bond thing, Most of your target audience that relates to the theme has one foot in the grave????????? I personally think the quality of the jersey jack games are way over the top compared to the other manufactures. I think lior mods feels the same as he seems to cater more to the jj games. as the previous example of fords vs ferraris, timex vs rolex. diversity makes the world go around, everyone likes something different.

Lol I have never met anyone, even young ass zoomers who don't know who James Bond is.

Actually I was driving around in a white van offering people free speakers!

Really sucks that you accidently ordered twice as many of those high end speakers for that rich guy's house. Looks like its my lucky day!

I get those guys stopping at my shop every once and a while trying to sell me that crap, there always some junk ass speakers, never martin logans or something decent. I dont believe the rich people are over ordering big brute or kraco. same thing with the guys selling steaks and sea food out of the freezer on the back of there pick up truck.

The ol white van speakers is a classic scam that frankly I am surprised is still going on today, but it is. Regardless I always find it funny, especially when they pop up in the speaker groups I am in

Right? I'd define an "okay collection" of 3 to 5. Honestly 1 pinball machine is an okay collection, lol. Anything beyond 10, and you've got a baller collection, if you ask me.
To answer your question, I'd choose the "neither" option.

Considering a couple of my buddies over 80 in one house and 20 in another I gotta say okay

A little touchy are we? I had games at home when I was a kid too, except when I was a kid was a lot less time ago. I also wish my dad had kept the various funhouses he owned over the years.

neither. If you only consider LE's, you don't care about value . because LE's are never good value.

#60 3 months ago

LE's are for the folks that enjoy wiping their asses with 100 dollar bills.

#61 3 months ago

Bond LE = some cool stuff in it.

TS4 CE = not really anything cool in it, more expensive.

LOL if you knew me you’d laugh at yourself for saying that. Ha ha ha

Are you a little touchy? How many years for you?

Hmmm maybe I don’t follow the used market well enough. Do pros increase at a higher percentage then LE’s?

#64 3 months ago

I played Bond at Free Play Florida, and I think it is already more fun than Toy Story 4.

Ohhh yeah! The jj pirates le are worth way more then a pirates ce right now, you would have been a complete idiot to spend the grand extra back then . Same with stranger things or Munsters. Ohhh wait, my bad! Never mind

Sounding pretty touchy my guy. I'd laugh at myself? I'm pretty sure I'd be more worried about going blind from rolling my eyes so hard. Bought my first game in 2012 when I bought my house. Like I said, I grew up with them though so much like you I've been around them my whole life. Like, literally there was never a time there wasn't any around me. I'm only in my 30s though, so admittedly you had a nice head start. You've been here for a year or less, thats why I asked. Not sure why you've turned it into some sort of cringe dick measuring contest.

Knowing you've been in it so long now though makes it easy to not cut you any kind of slack. Enjoy your InVeStMeNt CE or LE that will be bought at the top of the market pricing. The fact that LE's and CE's are still available from dealers should tell you everything to know about your plan, but clearly you've got it all figured out.

My apologies if I offended you. I know I don’t come across well online.

Thanks for answering my question. I believe you started the questioning my friend, (measuring)

I never knew about pinside before, and don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad thing.

I’ve turned down several of the latest LE and CE’s well below MSRP so I agree with you on the current collector games. Getting some at a discount could give it some upside.

If you’re ever in my area stop by and play some games.

Life’s short

All good brother. I'd have a beer with ya still. Asking a question isn't asking for the length of your meat though, its just a question to better understand the situation, just for clarity

This actually got me thinking of some of the peoples houses we’ve been at over the last couple years and asked myself how long they’ve been in the hobby.

I have no ****ing idea they could've started overnight for all i know.

Theres A LOT of newer people in the hobby lately for better or worse. You just never know these days. Its not like the old days when if you found another guy big into it in your area it was like finding a treasure chest! FWIW John's a good dude, we worked out whatever dumb sillyness we had going on and are on the same page now.

Hell yeah. You better plan to make it up here. Park at my place on your way and I’ll drive us the rest of the way.

a lot of times more. if you go by cost, and then sale price. Pros and premiums have increased more profits than LEs. LEs are too expensive to begin with, so it's hard to sell for even more, sometimes a loss if the game kinda sucks.

That'd certainly be one heck of a road trip!
