Quoted from DropGems:I want an odd job hat topper!
why? so that you can flip that for a profit as well?
Quoted from Bellystyle:Kaneda just posted more Pro pics. Everything except the eject seat is missing. Holy shit, that's bad....

kind of the same as how stripped the godzilla pro was. I'm surprised that the rocket wasn't a flat plastic as well (and 'no', I'm not being sarcastic)
I have the feeling that much of the BOL costs were licensing. the price bump for the premiums/LEs is covering the extra mechs & labor for assembly
apparently, no one has heard of these large blanket like devices (I think they're actually called "blankets"). they can cover up objects as big as houses (or even larger.
if there were rules to be followed, why didn't they just put up some scaffolding around the booth area with cloth concealing things that weren't meant to be seen until the show started? I've been to plenty of trade shows where they've done this.
Quoted from flashinstinct:I'm getting Thunderbirds vibes LOL

just be thankful that it's wasn't something like this
Quoted from JSC:The whole pinball secrecy is so dumb…video games don’t do it. If JJP would have shown progress updates on TS4 and solicited feedback I imagine that game would be very different. I don’t see the benefit of total secrecy…I’ve heard the logic goes it’s to not canabalize existing game sales, but pinheads all now there will be new games coming even if the details are hidden.
maybe, but then again maybe not. we are not privy to the licensing agreements and as it's been stated many times prior, it all depends on the terms of the agreement.
as much as we'd all like think that our input could sway the layout, design, and/or features, in the end even the designers probably find themselves dissatisfied with all of the details that they've spent countless hours that were either shot down, changed, or entirely cut out by the licensors and/or bean counters to keep the costs down.
the greatest part about this hobby is the number of creative minds that are able to make up for some of these shortcomings by way of homegrown modifications.
Quoted from demandecan55:So if that rumor about the "Other Pin" is true, and it's a street level reimagining of Quicksilver or something with Roger Moore, I assume that makes the Gomez LE Goldfinger then. Gomez did say 2 weeks back on that podcast that Goldfinger was his favorite bond movie.
Thunderball has better poster art, so that would be cool too, but a gold powder coat Goldfinger will be awesome! Only problem with Goldfinger is the original movie posters (which they used for the Pro and Premium) are not LE worthy. They are terrible.
plus, I hear that stern is still sitting on a pile of gold lockdown bars, hinges and legs from WWE
Quoted from Pinhead1982:JJP seem to be shifting LE’s into the 1000’s… well apart from TS4!
remember that the JJP LE is really the equivalent of the stern premium. their CE is their [limited] model which would equate to stern's LE
