Quoted from underlord:Agree that no matter how well off one is…overpaying, even on luxury, goes against one’s better judgement. Would not one agree?
[quoted image]
Agreed. That’s why I got an LE on lock.
ps: I am Bond

Hope you are enjoying Halloween
[quoted image]
Sup bros?
059F5B79-B3A9-44D6-AC0A-C45E6361C724 (resized).jpegQuoted from Wariodolby:Not home version Steve Ritchie actually finished the Pro version.
But Gomez started over mad his own.
There will be a Steve Richie Pro version.Diffent Bond.
Wtf?
Quoted from Lostcause:Tomorrow Never Dies and The World is Not Enough, only lighting nothing exciting.
There is another UK guy I know who worked on Goldeneye etc who is way too modest to mention these things, you might have his Halloween mod
Nice. The bmw 850il and bmw z8 in those two… both super cool! Love the z8!
Gomez can’t botch this. The stakes are too high. His legacy will be forever ruined and his family disgraced for generations to come.
Quoted from Pinball-Obsessed:Wow! Who knew 1 bad pinball design could have that much power…
I’m hoping bond is amazing but I think Gomez has enough under his belt that he would be just fine, even if bond did not live up to the hype!
His legacy is already in place and he has already proven he is one of the greatest pinball designers. Anything else is just extra frosting on the cake! Plus, he has the advantage of seeing what Pat Lawlor just did
I’m sure you were just joking but I just wanted to jump on the chance to gush over my homey Gomey
He’s always been one of my favorites and I’m hoping to add another one of his games to my lineup.
“No Mr. Gomez I expect you to die”
Quoted from Spacemanratso09:Better theme then Deadpool? That’s crazy to me
Bond kills Deadpool
Quoted from Deez:Crushes it on theme alone. Gomez designs shoot better than Elwin all day long and twice on Sunday!
Cold facts
Uhh a Dr. No poster is a 1000 times better than the drippy “kaleidoscope throwing up” look on the backglass of every new superhero game.
Quoted from Spacemanratso09:Better theme then Deadpool? That’s crazy to me
Stop trollin!
Quoted from Pinplayer1967:That pro backglass is a disaster. Come on Stern
You probably had black light megadeath posters up in your bedroom. Grab a martini and get some class sir!
Quoted from Spacemanratso09:Not trolling just like Deadpool as it’s kinda like based on something NOW
I’m a Roger Moore kid, when I was presented Connery 007 I didn’t want to watch that old busted Bond,I liked the new hotness that was Roger Moore.
I respect the other Bond movies from back in the day,but to me the best ones are the newest ones
Dude Deadpool is current
I guess the way I put it out there was trolling ha ha
Nah I know you weren’t trollin’. I was actually trollin you! All good though…
Roger Moore was a G.
Quoted from Good-Times:Deleted post
Quoted from jdoz2:I’m 33 and randomly watched Dr No as a kid but I totally agree with your point. Why in the world would the cabinet and backglass be one movie when the playfield is clearly a mix of them?
I plan to operate a pro and Dr No isn’t going to draw the bar crowd like James Bond 007 would. The pro is supposedly for the operator and seems like a big miss. Looking forward to grabbing an alt translite for this one.
The entire thing is a fake out. The art work is wrapped and underneath is the real artwork. the backglass is also fake. They’re going to swap them out. They knew it would get leaked so it’s all a cover up
Quoted from Jason_Jehosaphat:Does anyone really think you can...
1. Backhand the DAF spinner?
2. Hit the gated lane to the right of the capsule with the upper flipper?
3. Backhand the right orbit?
And what is the shot to the right of the Tank standup? Is there a shot there into the pops, or is that just a trickle exit from the pops?
Lastly, what is beneath the Henchman Modes and Villain Modes ramps if they are indeed hinged? Is there a scoop beneath either, or are there ball paths - perhaps merging with the right orbit?
[quoted image]
All I know is this layout is extremely unique. I can’t even understand how some stuff works with the ball paths. Definitely unorthodox
Quoted from jazc4:Did they give you a price yet?
If there’s an SLE im punching Gary Stern in the balls.
Quoted from 80sMan:That's how I feel about it too. IF there's an SLE? It would be a last minute thing and would piss me off royally 'no pun intended'.
If there’s an SLE I’m punching Gary Stern in the balls.
Quoted from Ballderdash:Final mode after completing the game should be a walk-off plunge of any remaining balls in true Elwin fashion.
The game should notify Elwin that you beat it and then he should fly out to the crib on short notice and you play him heads up as the final battle.
Dude bricked for the first 3/4’s of the vid but then started nailing the ramps and it showed some fast and amazing flow.
Quoted from Sixmillion:I was afraid that when they started the LCD era, too much emphasis would be on that screen. I am not a fan of video clips from movies played over and over. That’s what I don’t like about the Star Wars pin, I love the Star Wars movies but don’t want to see these clips played over and over, I will watch my movies on my big screen for that. I would have preferred the DMD for this.
To me the DMD is better suited to pinball. They are an art in themselves, something I really like with those dots. One could argue that the DMD screen cost more than these LCD screens.
Agree with this. I way prefer dmd.
Quoted from ejg10532626:Tron was already made 3 times.
For many reasons, there will not be a 4th.
For once,
I kept the right game and do not have egg on my face for dealing away a true gem of a title, which Tron definitely is.
I just sold my tron LE. Amazing game but has Felix or James mentioned me at all? I was wondering if you could put in a good word?
Ba na nananah ba na nannah na nah
Quoted from DakotaMike:Right. Martin is not just good--he was the number 1 ranked player in the UK for literally years, until he decided to step back from competing as much. So to say he's good, would be an understatement.
Why Martin filming with a vhs camcorder doe?
Quoted from Av8:Mechs are underwhelming compared to Godzilla.
They’ve been skimping since ghostbusters prem (stern mech pinnacle)
Quoted from Mrsiyufy:I owned a ghostbusters premium and there was nothing groundbreaking in there. Bond on a wand will at least pick up the ball, slimmer was just a bash toy. The magnislings were just magnets under the playfield that caused more drains than a real sling and the little ghost projector wasn’t too great either. GB was a good loaded premium but not the pinnacle.
Subway ramp brahhhhhh. Game was Mech heaven! DI and Houdini only other games that are that meched out. WOZ and jjp Potc too.
Quoted from Thunderbird:Come on guys, really? Owning some of the games listed as “mech heaven” is more like mech maintenance nightmare for not well implemented non interactive mechs, which the ball never touches.
On the other hand Bond is loaded with kinetic satisfaction ball interactive mechs, that will stand the test of time. Should all be balanced out once JB 1.0 arrives. JB is loaded and superior to most games out there. Appears to be the reason Stern is leading into 2023 with a strong theme, loaded with interactive mechs that give the atmosphere of playing a Bond Q movie set.
I’ll admit I’m a mech whore but I dig
Bond and agree with the kinetics and flow. It’s looking really good.
Quoted from docquest:I'd say Elvira House of Horrors is Sterns most mech heavy game.
Her 3D sculpted house has 4 entrances for the ball: back door via diverter, side garage behind brop taget, cellar when moving front ramp is up, front door when moving front ramp is down.
Her house also has has a 4 position rotating turret on top of it.
House has user selectable lit windows to select which movie plays next.
The crypt has 3 rotating fronts: crypt door closed, crypt door open, crypt skull to bash.
Crypt VUK shots ball across playfield via user controlled action button.
Trunk has lid that is part of ramp when closed but then lifts open to lock a ball and also a kickout on it to eject ball.
Four interactive Gargoyles that jump up to hit bottom of glass when hit by ball.
Plus the regular mechs on most games: 3 bumpers, spinner, 2 sets of 3 standup banks, action button.
If you get the topper, it's one of the few that physically moves (crypt opens and closes) compared to most which are just lights.
What other modern Stern game has 5 physical ball locks scattered across the playfield?
If like interactive mechanical toys nothing beats EHOH.
Yea my homie has an EHOH with topper and it’s meched out. That and Gb Prem are stern mech beasts. GZ solid too.
how jacked is the launch code going to be? Is it like totally not playable for 6 months? Are updates coming quicker lately?
Quoted from Chambahz:No actually, just meant that it would take a pretty strong theme for me to immediately write it off and not consider ever owning it if it was a good game. But a pinball machine like Dahmer would be one such theme.
Curious though, why are you comparing him to a car?
: )
FYI, I found the following article by the most recent Bond director commenting on the early Bond “womanizer” cringyness.
Goes to prove that you can point something certain aspects or scenes out as being in the wrong and still appreciate it overall.

BSD has entered the chat…
Crazy how you bond soldiers are jumping ship so fast. What was it mainly… price, Mechs, art, code? I’m still riding with my LE. Shots and flow are killer and bond clips and one liners rule
Quoted from usandthem:Gomez isn’t some pinball God that is above the possibility of disappointing people. Remember the greatest Stern promo of all time, which was the promo for Transformers? Gomez was playing with a transforming toy for the game. Well, the game not only didn’t have a transforming toy, but ended up an overall turd.
Wouldn’t it be awesome if JJP came out and said, “Look, guys. We’d like to apologize to the pinball community. We got greedy. We realize the folly of our ways and realize that we way overcharged and under delivered for our Toy Story 4 pinball machine. We are hereby lowering the price of the LE to a more realistic $9,999.”
Correction: Gomez is God
Quoted from TheGunnett:I got mine on 10/25 so I don’t think I’d get that excited.
Not excited. Ready for us all to revolt to the price increase lol
Quoted from Sheev_Palpatine:You changed your post. But who would have thought 5 years ago that a $7500 premium hit would be selling for 30% more in the used market. I highly doubt many people on here would be oh yeah of course people will be buying used pins for 30% more than the person who purchased it nib 2 years ago.
So as of right now unless you know for certain a hit pin will drop. And if so what is your forecast price for bond then?
Dude I have a Bond LE. Buy it off me for 17k.
Quoted from kklank:I also played the game at the Chicago expo.
First of all, I respect your opinion but I politely disagree.
One could argue that Batman had a worse layout than OO7 but look how that game turned out.
My main concern would be the ball times may feel too long but it’s hard to say.
The code was sooooooo limited when it was at the expo that it’s just hard to tell but I really enjoy the theme and the ramps so it seems fun to me.
Bond layout is def better than BM66
All they really have to do is write some insane ass challenging code for the bond wand mech for the players ability to control it with skill. Hopefully they don’t screw it up.
Quoted from PinMonk:I can fairly safely say it will not be living in the same neighborhood as Godzilla when it's done. Expect Guardians or Stranger Things and you might be pleasantly surprised. If you're expecting it to end up on par with Stern's best machines, I believe you will be disappointed.
I thought this was known about a year ago. They likely ARE doing it. But MM is a pretty shallow game code-wise, by today's standards. Love the theme and enjoy playing it on location, but I think I'd be bored having it again now.
The Nordman AP game is the one that intrigues me. Can Nordman pull AP into doing a professional release with good art, design, and production? I hope so. The THEME doesn't do much for me, but it's Nordman, so I can give them the benefit of the doubt.
Also, the more I think about it, plus the rumors, the more I think "The Godfather" is JJP's code name for Eric's Elton John pin, not The Matrix. Makes more sense. After what he did for jjPotC and GnR, very interested to see how he approaches that. JJP needs to get their code polish game back up to snuff, though. Leaving jjPotC and jjGnR owners hanging with unfinished/buggy/unpolished games for so long is not a good look.
Regarding AP and Nordsman,
Houdini rules and Alien is Nordmans best.
