I dont think there will be an SLE here, it will just be a LE but maybe Stern is changing how they do the LE, moving away from the glass/shaker/cab art to something really unique?

KISS LE is a beautiful pin. I had the Prem then the LE and the LE was a work of art (except for that cheapass fake mirrored backglass).

Does anyone really think you can...
1. Backhand the DAF spinner?
2. Hit the gated lane to the right of the capsule with the upper flipper?
3. Backhand the right orbit?
And what is the shot to the right of the Tank standup? Is there a shot there into the pops, or is that just a trickle exit from the pops?
Lastly, what is beneath the Henchman Modes and Villain Modes ramps if they are indeed hinged? Is there a scoop beneath either, or are there ball paths - perhaps merging with the right orbit?

I really hope there won’t be an SLE. I’d gotten on the Bond list with my distributor a while ago and so got the call last week I’d be able to get an LE. This would be my first LE and the cost is already a bit daunting. I’d like to know I’m getting the best version, not sure I’m ready to spend SLE money.

I agree. There hasn't been any real indication & I don't think there will be an SLE either. Remember, we still haven't seen the LE yet and it's rumored to have a price increase. I'm guessing there won't be a Thunderball version & for the increase I expect we'll see powder coated armor (Gold) Goldfinger LE with a few added details like the scuba diver from Thunderball, mirrored back glass and a shaker as there has to be a difference with it vs the Premium. SLE's are usually released very differently too, not together with a cornerstone release. It would be strange to me if they release an SLE after the fact and if so it may be just a cash grab like the Elvira with the Ruby dagger, not too much of a difference. The Batman 66 SLE was really special, only SLE imo where they went all out and pulled out all the stops.

That's how I feel about it too. IF there's an SLE? It would be a last minute thing and would piss me off royally 'no pun intended'.

All I know is this layout is extremely unique. I can’t even understand how some stuff works with the ball paths. Definitely unorthodox

Premium - Translite
LE - Mirrored back glass
GZ LE is probably the same..
I guess this is just another cost cutter

I'm pretty sure KISS LE was the one where they had segments of mirrored material adhered to the back of the translite for a fake mirrored backglass effect. It wasn't a "real" mirrored backglass. I remember being really disappointed in the quality. I think Stern has since changed to actual mirrored backglasses on the LEs. RUSH LE I had seemed very nice and didn't look like the crappy KISS LE fake "mirrored" backglass.

Call me sceptical but i really think all the rumors of an SLE version or another Elwin Bond pin total BS. Reckon it will just be the standard Pro,Prem and LE machines and, as others have previously mentioned, Stern wouldn't use Elwin for a secondary Bond pin that isn't a cornerstone machine, just doesn't make any logical sense. On a positive note for me, have confirmation on being added to the list for the first run of premium Bonds to Oz. Super keen, reckon this will be an awesome player

Hmm. I wonder which Stern LE it was that had the cheap-o glued mirrored segments...I know it was one of them, I just thought it was KISS...
Thinking through the LE SLE and Special editions I've had...maybe AC/DC Let there Be Rock edition? I dunno now...
