Quoted from DropGems:Bond kills Deadpool
Bond is such a classic theme. I had DP and it just wasn’t for me in the long run, but this looks amazing in my opinion.
Quoted from Spacemanratso09:Better theme then Deadpool? That’s crazy to me
Bond is a more interesting theme to me as well. I'm just not a comic book guy. I've considered buying Deadpool so many times because it's a great game, but held off mainly because of the theme and wanting to see Gomez's next game. This will be my first Gomez game and I can't wait.
I just did a search and found these. Looks very retro.

Where did you find them? In this thread?
Quoted from Ty-Arnold:It's the bond on the stick. Look at the pictures.
Bond on a wand. Looks fun but hella not 12k.
Quoted from Bellystyle:Where did you find them? In this thread?
Not sure if you're being sarcastic or actually asking but if you are asking these pics first showed up on page 15
Art, Bond on a Wand, bland backboard and style remind me of Thunderturds. I'm not a Bond fan at all, but I'm looking forward to the gameplay reveal stream, the layout seems to have potential.
I’m ready for some younger themes…
That being said the layout looks fresh which is a plus! I just don’t see this pulling in anyone under 40 on location.
Really wish they would focus on a home run route game.
New southpark please!
Quoted from mikeflan:He has definitely made a lot of games. That said, there are a lot of middle of the road games in that list. Corvette? NBA Fastbreak? Playboy? The Avengers?C'mon...
I'm not sure why everyone is so damned excited about this. I like the idea of the theme a lot, but going on history, it looks like there's about a 50/50 chance of the design being craptastic...
We'll have some idea in about 24 hours though, so far be it from me to burst anyone's bubble.
lol like I said George gets no respect no respect at all lol. FYI the middle of the road games you say are just eaaaa were made during the dark days of pinball and we were lucky to have anything new.Stern was focus on bar game that didn't cost much to make.He a pinball genius if you ask me and thousands of other players who know some of Georges history and the games he has made.

Original Spyhunter and Tron video games were from George.
Game looks cool. All pinball is fun. Le will be even better I’m sure. Can’t wait to see the release. I still may wait for Elwin’s next pin!!
Quoted from underlord:Original Spyhunter and Tron video games were from George.
Yeah that blew my mind when he said that in the interview. Two of my favorite arcade games as a kid.
Quoted from Rat:...bland backboard and style remind me of Thunderturds...
I noticed the backboard too, definitely needs something to spice it up a bit.
pasted_image (resized).pngQuoted from Viggin900:I believe you "left"this with Ferrara?
[quoted image]
Locque!
Please help me understand a few shot paths:
1. Does the left "orbit" return along the long, flourish'y wireform to the left flipper? If so, it's a bit like the right orbit in AIQ, only reversed.
2. How many shots do you see from the upper flipper? I see one to that "ramp complex" mech on the right. It returns to the right flipper via the wireform. There is a second upper-flipper shot indicated by an insert, but where does it go? Does it loop around the top of the PF and drop into the rollover lanes?
3. Is the shot to the right of the three standups in front of the Missile the only way to feed the upper flipper?
4. Where does the shot go that seems to lead to the DB-5 VUK? Is that a right orbit or does it terminate in a scoop/VUK a la AIQ?
5. How do you lock balls? I see the elaborate mech/wireform there that surrounds the missile, but I can't understand what I'm looking at. Ideas?

My main question from the pics is WHY is the arm for jetpack bond SO ENORMOUS? It's a huge eyesore. I can't believe they couldn't have gotten the job done with a slotted rod like 1/3 or 1/4th as big. What weight is at the end? A coil, a bracket, and a plastic figure? C'mon, Stern engineering, try harder.

It needs the strength to carry the ball. Ugly and cheap looking. Backboard reminds me of Thunderbirds.

My hope is that it's to be sturdy and strong. It's apparently a magnet behind the figure that picks up and flies around with the ball. I would hope such a complex mech is sturdy as so many cranes in pinball machines go bad
Quoted from Pinplayer1967:It needs the strength to carry the ball. Ugly and cheap looking. Backboard reminds me of Thunderbirds.
Ball, coil, bracket, and figure do not need a (HOLLOW!) rod that huge. A solid, slotted rod (on one side, to hold the wire) would be plenty strong enough.
Quoted from PanzerKraken:My hope is that it's to be sturdy and strong. It's apparently a magnet behind the figure that picks up and flies around with the ball. I would hope such a complex mech is sturdy as so many cranes in pinball machines go bad
Cranes go bad because their wires are dangling free when the claw drops, and a claw has WAY more weight than that jetpack assy. This jetpack arm is just lazy engineering.
So happy with how loaded the premium looks. Glad I got in early on an LE. Should be an easy flip at 15k +. Congrats to everyone that got on the list. This looks like s cash cow. Moo moo baby!! Get you some fomo.

Nah. This game is the goat. Full of buttery males!

Looks like you use the action button to drop the ball on that target. Stern could have made this look so much better!
If that arm swings fast (to make the ball drop a challenging shot), then it's got to be pretty stiff. A solid rod would bend; that hollow rod looks like a wise design choice. I'm digging the mechs on this, looks like a real winner. I'm actually pretty fond of the retro-art, too. They're doing the Bond movie poster thing, not unlike JJP GnR LE.
My wallet is feeling lighter already...

I hope so, and that it's not just a PF molded toy exclusive to the LEs that will be on top of the plastics near there...

A 3/8" steel rod isn't bending from that load. It might SAG if the pivot point isn't properly designed, but bending? No way.

Same here. George seemed so excited to show us I feel like it must be more than just a molded toy. I love the idea of it being under the playfield.
Quoted from Deez:Crushes it on theme alone. Gomez designs shoot better than Elwin all day long and twice on Sunday!
