Bon Jovi won't sell. They are a good band, but not Iconic like Aerosmith nor does the fan base seem to be ones that would buy pinball.

Kiss, Metallica, the Rolling Stones, and ACDC have huge followings. Elvis was iconic.

I'd say either a 60s band like Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, or Led Zeppelin.

Any 80s hair rock band would surely fail. No one cares

Any metal band like Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Scorpions, Def Leppard, would work well.

No one cares about Bon Jovi.

    My wishlist would be

    Avenged Sevenfold
    Iron Maiden
    Five Finger Death Punch
Black Sabbath with Ozzy doing call outs.

Masters of Metal that has a mix of everyone from Slayer, Slipknot and others.

    Quoted from Rdoyle1978:

Same reason we first bought their records back in the 80s - the art look sooooo cool!

Bon Jovi is a no way for me
My wife loves them. I've seen them and they are good. I listen to the music, but in no way shape or format can I imagine making a pinball game with Bon Jovi.

I really like the mix tape idea or Monsters of Rock or something with multiple bands.

Can you imagine 8 different endings based on what band you pick or a rock band type game with 10 songs. You build a fan base as you progress through the songs. Even a 3 band pin with 4 songs for each band where the player plays to become the master of rock or rock champion with that band.

Have mini wizard modes for each band. If they could mix Bon Jovi, Def Leppard and even Motley Crue, Poison together, that would be okay.

A stand alone Bon Jovi will in no way shape or formed sell unless you are selling to 40 year old women as your main target market.

Still thinking Rock Band pin with Bon Jovi and other hands songs in it would be okay though as it could appeal to everyone.

    Quoted from PinMonk:

I totally don't disagree with the general consensus, but think back to when Aerosmith rumor broke. The tone was almost the same amount of negativity, and lots of people that said "no way" ended up buying one.

Aerosmith was a why are they doing that when there are far better music artists for a pin, but I may buy one if it's good. Bon Jovi is like why are they doing it as it will never sell and Im not buying that.

Personally, I hope they do it as I won't be tempted in the least to buy that game. No one cares.

Well much harder pass up than Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi will not sell well. It may sell worse than WWE, but I'm not sure on that one. It would be close.

    Quoted from taz:

Don’t be so quick to dismiss Bon Jovi’s popularity. I recall Wanted Dead or Alive and Livin’ on a Prayer winning and placing top ten in some huge songs of the decade and such countdowns I’ve heard on the radio in the past. They play the hell out of It’s My Life in Hong Kong and other Asian night clubs. Some of his songs are Anthems to people. I don’t know if those fans are buying pins but I recall myself laughing at the thought of Metallica and Aerosmith before they were introduced.

No doubt the music is not bad, it's just not a theme for pinball.

    Quoted from Raegor:

The music from Rock Star is epic.

Stand up and Shout multi ball.
