Loganpinball - I'm on the list and definitely still interested
wink wink
Quoted from Loganpinball:Starting today after 5 days of no replies I am moving on to the next person on the list. I have a few no replies since last Sunday and they have been on pinside. (Last seen) If you are no longer interested just let me know. It is not a problem. And if your delayed that is also not a problem, but your order will be made when I have time. I am trying to get these out in a timely manner as its been 5 months for some on the list. I have boxes on hold waiting to go out now.
I would love to have the slinky. Thank you
I have been ghosted by Jjp parts department. I have sent multiple emails to them, to the Jjp contact form and even left voicemail with my name and part number requested. That was 3 weeks ago??? I was told they would not sell me ramps to sell mods. I am only trying to buy 1 ramp to replace the cut one on my machine. I do not understand the issue.. Frustrating. I sent Jack an email today explaining that I just need 1 ramp only. Hopefully he gives me an answer..
If they still say no to me would someone be willing to try and get 1 for me? This is just stupid…
Part number 2 in diagram
If they don’t sell you a ramp we should all email them our displeasure!but I don’t see why they would deny you.
Quoted from rockrand:If they don’t sell you a ramp we should all email them our displeasure!but I don’t see why they would deny you.
I think they still assume I need a ramp to sell a mod. They were very clear with me saying the would not sell me ramps for mods. I explained I only want one ramp for the reasons above and they have not responded to any further requests. Hopefully Jack will help me get one. Hes always been very nice to deal with. I also think the mod might be a sore issue. If I get no reply from Jack I will not be helped. If thats the case I will post here again asking if someone here would be willing to get it and I would pay for it.
Installed and I love it!
I am not the sharpest tool in the shed so it took me a lot longer than it should have.
Customer support for my issues were great. It really does look like it belonged there in the first place.

Thanks for posting video. That red powder coat really looks great over the blue. And I am glad you figured it out..
I just need to clean and playtest this run of 8 Skinks. They will be ready by Friday. And if things have changed and your no longer interested just pm me. I still have 4 no replies going on a week.
We got our Slinky (#6) today and it was well packed and quickly shipped. We had watched all of Jay's excellent videos and we carefully examined the installation photos he posted in this thread. But, we had a bit of trouble with the install. The mod came in what we thought was in a 'ready to install mode' but that was an erroneous assumption on our part. We initially did not realize that some components were installed in the body that were not really oriented properly to complete the install (e.g., the brace that fits in front of the slinky 'spring'. We finally figured it out that we had do some 'disassembly and reassembly' in order to do the install. It took a lot longer to do than we expected it to but we are very happy with the final result. And, I have to give full credit to my wife who was part of the 'we'. Without her help, I am not sure that I would not still be trying to do the install. Lucky me. Anyway, its a great mod and a great add to a fun game. Thanks Jay!

Very sorry as your another victum. I did not put the arms on in any particuliar position when I shipped them. I thought the large and small washer would be picked up. I will start sending them as installed, but here is a picture of the arm and how it needs to be installed. Sorry!
Hey, not a problem. Your pictures helped us a lot in figuring out what was the issue. It was a bad assumption on our part that things were oriented correctly when we received the mod. All's well that ends well.
A silent thanks to Jack. I actually got a responce from the parts department the following day. So I should be ok with that replacement ramp and then I can work out the Zurg mod further.
Another 8 are ready to ship. Very long weekend.
If you do not reply within 2 weeks I will just drop your name off list. If your passing or have other issue just let me know, I have a few going on 2 weeks now. Last seen shows all of them on pinside…
The mod just works I really have a lot of fun with toy story and love to see the ball role through slinky!
I am eating the price increase for the remaining 7 dogs I have to make. I bought the remaining 7 at a higher cost. After this run any further interest would require additional costs to make. I cleaned out the $12 slinks on amazon. I just bought the $17 slinks for the remainder of my list.
Quoted from thepinballworks:Can I supply my own slinky dog. I bought one from Amazon but have not used it yet.
You can, but you would be suprised at the amount of people on the list that have not replied to messages going on a month. I still have boxes on hold giving them time. I am tracking the no replies and that will affect future mod lists. After a month and seeing them on pinside just baffles me…It is very easy to pass. All that does is delays others on the list. I most likely will have one to send you due to no replies.
If you do not reply in a month please be advised that you will not be added to future mod lists.
Ya what the hell are you waiting for I think a month is enough time move on!
I love mine by the way!

The run I am doing now covers the remaining list. The no replies will be bonus stock. I want to move on to gotg and once I do the slinks will be back on hold..And thanks for the plug.. I would prefer to build the list so I can tool up for different mod and not have to go backwards.
I just need to playtest this run and I will pm the rest. Happy new year!
I just installed mod, it works as intended but I have some questions. It took a little time because it came with three lock washers on the body of the dog. in The video it showed only two and you took one off to use for the head but the head already has one when shipped.
Question is, what do you do with the other two lock washers? Are they meant for spares? Did i install the body and feet in correctly? (I attached some pics) It confused me because the washers were spaced in a way as if they were not meant to be moved but the butt of the dog was pulled all the way back prohibiting me to get the back feet straight. I had to push the lock washers forward on the bar in order to get the back feet to sit reasonably level. Spent a lot of time there.
Something to note, I had to use a longer screw to when reconnecting the drop ball ramp with the front head bracket. Lucky I have a stash of computer screws so I had one.
There is a black dot on the right eye, is that supposed to be there?

Sorry for delay. Picked up two dogs and spent the day in the car and passed out early. But, it seems they want to eat at 5am…
Quoted from twinturb089:I was confused with the lock washers on the body too. After watching his videos a few times. I saved them for extras.
Those 2 are extra lock washers. I think I mentioned that in the emails sent with ups tracking information. Keep them to the side. If your head ever starts to get loose on the pivot arm all you do is put one on each side of the head to lock it in place.

If there is a mark on the eye try some novus and a towel. If it is a scratch let me know I have extra heads. Your install looks good. The rear legs look right. The rear body is in a rotated position for the mod to work. The bracket can be bent outward if needed, but I put everyone on my machine prior to shipping.
