I did a full restoration on a BOPP (http://www.pinballowners.com/mesz) so if you need any help with anything shoot me a pm!
Quoted from PhilGreg:Wow, just had a look at it... looks awesome!
I didn't know about that goalee machine. Looks sweet, I'd like to see pics of that too! I own a Slap Shot which will get restored at some point too. I'd like to have an Ice Fever too at some point. I had a chance to pick one up a few years back and I'm sorry I passed on it...
The Goalee is a resto in process. I have the cabinet left to do and it will be done. Hopefully by Spring!
I had an Ice Fever, one game I regret selling!!
I have, next in queue, a Chicago Coin Super Hockey pin! Just received a reproduction backglass for it!
Quoted from PhilGreg:I did some testing on the light sockets, and I do have a couple of bad ones, i.e. I need to hold the bulb in for it to light up.
I tried sanding inside the socket with an 800 grit and that fixed a couple of them but I still have 2 or 3 that won't work. It seems if I apply power to the little stud that pushes down when you hold the light it works, but not if I apply it directly to the lug.
Any tips besides just replacing it? I don't have any replacements on hand and I already swallowed the pill on my large Marco's order so I'd like to try and fix it if possible...
If you cant get them to work attach a picture of the ones you need. I may have a few laying around that I can throw in the mail!
Quoted from PhilGreg:So I sanded the inside of the ones I was having problems with I got everything to work pretty solid.
So thanks for the offer, but I think I'll be ok.
Thanks!
No problem!!
Quoted from Billc479:When you place your order, include one of those light socket cleaning sticks. I attach mine to a drill, and in a few seconds, the inside is buffed and ready to go. Big time saver.
Light socket cleaning stick - http://www.pbresource.com/tools.html
However they do advise - "(Not recommend for late 70-80's Bally games – due to cheap sockets being used)."
Quoted from PhilGreg:Nice!
That playfield doesn't look too shabby either!
Is that a CPR?
No, NOS that was cleared by Kruzman. I obtained it few years prior to CPR making them!
Quoted from Shannyman:Jeff at classic arcades made me a custom set of targets for mine. They look great.
Be interested in seeing a picture! Not a big fan of Jeff's work as it's not the best quality but would be neat to see the targets! Were the hot stamped?
