I'm attempting my first board repair. The FILM board is flickering on the F so I figured I either need to reflow the header pins or the actual socket. I've attached some pics of the board. The problem socket is the one that doesn't have a light in it. Do those thing make sense? Or do any of you see something else that might be the culprit?
I noticed you have leds. Try putting an incandescent on "F" and see if the flickering reamains. If the incandescent stays on like the other letters without flicker, you need to buy an anti-ghosting led.
However, you SHOULD reflow the solder on all connections on the pcb - it's standard maintainance
