Hi, I have a 2003 X5 and it's great for fitting pins, but it's old and might now last long. can anyone confirm if pins, newer sterns, fit in the any other years? I know the power cord shroud plastic piece has to come off, but otherwise - who is using an x5 and what year? thx

I had to fit an recent stern in my 2018 X5 and it was a bad surprise, it did not fit easily, i had to open the glass and remove the bolts holding the head once it was already (almost) in the trunk.
Not a big deal if i have known before... But kind of not cool as the game was already wrapped.

yeah, I think the 2018 model, which was it's last year, before the new 2019 model, doesn't fit pins well. 2019 has bigger trunk opening. I wonder about the 2012 model...

I fit my AFM in the back of my 2004 X5. Barely cleared on the sides but it did fit.
