I need to replace the dark blue tinted film that covers the alpha-numeric displays on a Bad Girls.

Does anyone have a source for this?

In the past Pinball Pal sold them.. I'm not sure if theyre currently selling anything

http://www.pinballpal.com/products/gdisplay/

There is these instructions if you want to source the stuff to do it yourself.

It doesn't look like pinball Pal is in business any more.

I know some hobby stores sell the tinted films...but they don't seem dark enough.

I can get tinted acrylic sheets, but 1/8th thick is about all I can find.

Would blue gel for spotlights work ? Check out stores that sell professional audio and stage equipment.

Thanks for the help.

I know PBR stocks way more than the website lists, but according to the link, there's only the green. (Bad Girls is an 80B / needs the 4"x10.5")

I would think blue gels would be pretty close. Maybe even a thin acrylic/plexi translucent blue sheet if you have an art supply store nearby. But I'd be willing to wager gels would be cheaper even if you have to buy a whole roll to get the dimensions you need.

Great thread, I was looking for the same thing myself a while back. I did a quick ebay search for the Lee Filters Theatre Gel #116 (greener) or #172 (bluer) listed on the above earlier post, and found them quickly and cheap. might be a great alternative

I bought these for the inserts on my game and they work great, i just cut them to size

So how did you make out with your project? Which route/material did you buy and use?

The ones from pinball swag aren't the ones need. The ones they sell are for the Gottlieb pins that have individual player score displays.

I ordered this to install in my Raven...but it's just a tad short to install on Bad Girls...

Cool. If you still need other sizes, it might be a good idea to drop pinballswag, and see if they are able and/or setup to do other/custome sizes.
