Hello everyone. So my no fear machine has been fine last few days no issues, little bit ago i turn it on and it comes on for seconds then goes completly dead. I checked main fuse and it was blown. I replaced fuse the came back on just wonder what or why the main fuse blew. Thanks

If it doesn't happen again, crap happens. If it happens every time, something's wrong.

LTG : )

You likely have a blown bridge rectifier, this would be either BR1 on the Fliptronics board or BR3 on the Power Driver Board. You will need to remove J901 on the Fliptronics board and turn on the machine, if F112 still blows with J901 disconnected then the problem is on the power driver board; if the fuse doesnt blow, the problem is on the Fliptronics Board.

Since individual coil lines are fused on both the Power Driver and Fliptronics boards, its very unlikely that an issue past the Bridge Rectifiers would blow the main 50V fuse (F112)

So i disconnected j901 and fuse didnt blow. Coils kept cycling. So where to look on fliptronic board. Thanks.

BR1 is going to be blown, if you want to further isolate it, you can reconnect J901 and disconnect J907 which will isolate BR1 on the Fliptronics board; if F112 blows with J901 connected and J907 disconnected (it should) then you know for sure that you need to replace BR1.

I would replace C2 (100uf 100V) electrolytic capacitor while you have the Fliptronics board on the bench; this part is super cheap and simple to replace, there is literally no reason not to.

Ok i sure will. Your the best. Now to figure out flasher issue on f14. Smh

There is no cap on c2. Only c1

One of the board revisions did remove this capacitor, I have some boards with this cap and others without. Truth is the 50VDC really doesn't need to be very clean for your flippers to operate
