Iron Man
Stern, 2010I had a good game going (72 mill on ball1), my phone rang so I cradled the ball on my left flipper to answer phone. It was less than a minute when the flipper released on its own. The flipper was dead and the playfield 3 amp fuse adjacent to the flipper was burnt. I replaced the fuse but on power up the flipper flips and the fuse immediately burns out.
Any suggestions on a fix. It's the new Ironman. Thanks.
This is a problem that ive seen a few times......Sterns hate holding the flipper for long periods. Fuse usually blows and/or the transistor for that flipper blows. They make oversized transistors for those now, but i think would get ahold of Stern. Of course this is just my speculation without seeing it. I would test the transistor to see if it blew.
