I was working on a fully working Black Hole that I just finished up repairing. A strand of solder touched the bottom transformer and bridged something else and now the game won't boot. A few coils are stuck on and it won't go into attract mode. All displays are blank and it won't go into test mode. Credit display shows 0. All my voltages seem good on the PS. Slam switch mod has been done. Fuses test good.

At this point, all I have checked on the cpu with a logic probe is A0 and it is stuck low. Not sure where to begin on this one. Any direction to narrow it down? I have the manual and repair guide. Thanks.

Pulled all the connectors except power to MPU. I used a logic probe on the following pins of the 6502:

    Results:
    Pin 1: Lo
    2: RDY: Hi
    3: Pulsing
    4: IRQ: Lo
    5: Blank
    6: Hi
    7: SYNC: Lo
    8: Hi
    9: Hi

    32: Lo
    33: Lo
    34: Hi
    35: Blank
    36: Blank
    37: Pulse
    38: Hi
    39: Pulse
40: RES: Low for a millisecond at start up and then stays Hi

Power Connector is fine. Don't have another MPU to test.

How do my 6502 pin measurements look? I'm not really sure if they are doing what they are supposed to be doing.

ChrisHibler: I think I did short HV to the switch matrix as it was a strand of solder that touched the HV on the transformer to a switch. Maybe the tilt switch or flipper switch. I definitely think it killed the MPU. I'll contact you for details.
