Eh - Can't get worked up about it.
Keeps them in business.
(Looks like it needs a topper and some LEDs though.)
Edit - It HAS a topper already. Sweet..........
Quoted from jgentry:Why shame on stern? It's a pinball machine on location that kids can play.
Actually, it's a redemption game--not a pinball game. Drop in a quarter, and it spits out tickets.
These were standard issue for pretty much every chuck e cheese. I used to play it when I took my nephew, it's an easy timing game. You put a coin in the slot and it rolls into the game, have to time it right to get it up the ramps and stuff. It's addicting.
More like "Way to go Stern! Finding a way to diversify and make more money!"
I see nothing whatsoever wrong with this in any way.
This game is really old news. It was made 10 years ago.

Yeah its actually pretty cool and fun. Not sure why its a bad thing? It didn't affect you in anyway before you knew about it
sorry i just put that for the heck of it. no shame on them really just my first time seeing one. pretty neat little thing it was also really clean for being in a kids play place.
i guess from what i was told by my local op that its full of pinball parts. I messaged Stren about their hidden secerts as we called it. They told me to look up this one by sega

They knew what they were getting into.
All except poor Fabrizio

Had to look that one up.
Titanic was so boring I jumped to the last 3 minutes to see Leonardo die and pressed eject.

My first guess was that it was developed in concert with the movie, but it looks like that might have not been the case. The move came out in 1997, and the game came out in 2000.

I always found this game to be boring with low ticket payouts. It looks a whole lot cooler than it is.

Three minutes, you thought of nothing except Titanic; but you never got it... you never let it in.

If the Atlantic was like a flat floor probably.
I fail to see how this is news or a problem for you?
It's a cool little ticket game for kids, so what?
Quoted from TheLaw:Three minutes, you thought of nothing except Titanic; but you never got it... you never let it in.
I gave it my best shot.
I made popcorn, I fired up my G90 projector, and......was too bored to sit through 2 hours of it.
I FF to the end to see Leo kick the bucket, so if any chicks ever were talking about it, I could say "Hey, at least one of them SOBs survived".
Same with Moulin Rouge, everyone said it had the best color pallet, best sound, sexy hookers.....another unwatchable pile.
I get you trying to insult Titanic over and over and I respect it...but bringing Mouln Rouge into the discussion it has gone to far sir!
Quoted from vid1900:Same with Moulin Rouge, everyone said it had the best ...
I mean obviously no one said this sentence at any time
Saw a Titanic movie based slot machine in Vegas this last week. Clearly it's designed to sink your finances. Quick google search showed it's one of the stingiest payout games made.

I like the fact they're telling you what's going to happen...and people still shovel monies into it.

I'm not kidding, all the AV reviewers talked about that disc like it was the second coming:
"
This all-new 1080p/AVC-encoded transfer, personally approved by Baz Luhrmann himself, is everything that fans could've hoped for and more. Simply put, this is a stunning presentation of a film that seems made for Blu-ray. Colors practically scream off the screen—vivid boudoir reds, deep moonlit blues, the emerald green of Kylie Minogue's absinthe fairy. I could go on an on. The scenes inside the Moulin Rouge, especially, are ultra-saturated and dense, without any instances of color bleed or over-pumped hues. Likewise, black levels are inky, contrast is pleasingly tight, and the image has an incredible sense of "pop," for the lack of a better word. The film gets a tremendous boost in clarity from the DVD, and while you'll spot a few soft-ish shots, most of the movie is sharp and refined, with close-ups that reveal extremely fine detail—see the screenshot of Zigler's face—and an overall appearance that's cleanly resolved. Better yet, the film's grain is natural and unobtrusive—there are no DNR abuses here—and digital noise, or any other compression problems, are rarely ever apparent. I could probably dig for tiny nitpicks, but that would be counterproductive. Moulin Rouge has been granted a fantastic restoration/transfer, and I can't imagine it looking any better.
let me go ahead and tell you about the film's incredibly lush DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround track. As this is a musical, the dynamic breadth and clarity of the songs is of utmost importance, and this track doesn't disappoint. I'll get my one complaint out of the way—there's an instance in an early song when Zigler's voice sounds much too low in the mix, obscured by the raucous music that's booming out of every channel. But that's it. It never really happens again. (At least, not to the same extent. There are a few other times when vocals could be just a hair higher in the mix.) Aside from that little bugaboo, I'm over the moon for this track. The music is rich and expansive; you can make out the timbre of individual instruments, and the mix frequently makes use of all 5.1 channels—with plenty of .1 LFE low-end response— for a presentation that's wholly enveloping. It's like being inside the Moulin Rouge. Even when the music isn't sweeping us away—which, for most of the film, it is—the rear speakers are used to strong effect, with ambience and the occasional cross-channel movement, like the swooshing flutter of the green absinthe fairy. Dialogue is clean and clear, and there are no odd hisses, buzzes, or drop-outs to report. .

I've never seen it. I have seen some clips, and just couldn't care less.
So the best they could say about the movie was it had real good digital color? Sounds like something I want to watch over and over.
Quoted from extraballingtmc:I fail to see how this is news or a problem for you?

Relax, read his other posts before going off on a tangent. He didn't mean any disrespect with his title. You may want to check your over sensitivity to anything you perceive negative about Stern.

You can Bank on Bally. Well, casino owners can and do.....
I like this quarter taker, even thought about getting one for the basement. Saw one a couple years ago at auction but didn't pull the trigger.

3 years late - as usual.
There is one by my house at a place called "Space Aliens". I took my goddaughter there for lunch and to play some games. I found myself stuffing a lot of tokens into this thing!
